I love the late 90’s mid 2000’s documentaries. Really take me back to my childhood.
They enjoying that cool water bath and baby calf.
Elk are amazing grazers that provide food for many predators, and help the landscape balance! They are truly an important herbivore, we hunt them, predators hunt them, but the most important thing is learning about them so we can ensure they survive for many generations.
Nice video but dude sounded like he needed to clear his throat the entire time
Very good video thank you so much I learned a lot hugs

there my favrite antler animal learnt some new things
goldgaming do you even speak English, it's Deer, not antlered animal. And *favorite*
@Kyle_, you are correct deer are the only animals that have antlers and all deer have antlers, a deer is any ungulate that belongs to the family Cervidae, the elk belongs to the genus Cervus, which members are called "common deer" and is the same genus that contains the red deer.
No need for music
They pee their pants lol
favorite sorry
S

Tyler Tee Poor elk......
Tyler Tee Just takedown the bulls not the cows cause the cows maybe are pregnant.
Holy smokes people are crazy. Where do u think your burgers come from? Ya a cow a livening breathing animal that got killed so u can eat it

can I get the soundtrack on itunes?
Could be a good documentary but do we really need that annoying music in the background? Got to the point where I stopped watching. When there is no music it's good.
Sounded good to me
Hunting is conservation. Only reason Elk #'s are up is because of hunters.
Maybe you're right but I sure feel like a cancer as a human son earth we are killing every thing off . And I'm a hunter also
Only reason it was down was hunters. It's not conservation, it's asset protection. Why don't you conserve animals like wolves and coyotes?
chistine lane the hunters realized what they were doing and decided to make strict laws and regulations to protect the species. It was actually hunters who created many elk preservation programs, and so far there has been over 7 million acres protected for the benefit of elk and other wildlife. This documentary is old, so the population number is off. Elk are now up to over 1 million strong and are still growing
No mention of humans hunting then for food as part of balancing the population ? Wild game is nutrias and delicious. You should have been more thorough in your presentation...... Tim M, 9/23/2020
This isn’t about every possible scenario. This is strictly a wildlife documentary detailing things from only that perspective. Dude , chill.omg besides this channel is only posting an existing vid from around the. 1980’s or early 90’s. Chill. They didn’t even make it.

Idk what language your speaking. But i just wanna say lots of members of the cervidae family are referred to as "Elk" including, red deer, moose, reindeer, etc. You refer to them by what part of the world youre from. Like reindeer in Norwegian countries, and caribou in north america.
@@graymitchell6502 oh wer from

Yer here elk its a moose
Caribou its a reindeer
An elk is not a red deer like in north america except its thr same one
