3 years and its still my favourite ninjago edit. I liked Morro hosting lloyd but there was also so much potential with Kai. I mean he was just getting over not being the green ninja and Morro, who wanted to be the green ninja, couldve convinced Kai to turn on everyone. As much as i wanted this to happen S4 was technically a Kai focus season and we already got evil Kai so it woudlve been a repeat and Lloyd is the protagonist so he needed a season but i feel like Kai and Morro wouldve been a good plot. Idk which i wouldve prefered, switching the focus of S4 and 5 to Lloyd being the focus of S4 and Kai focus of S5 or keeping it the same and Kai being the focus of S4 and Lloyd being the focus of S5. But hey atleast we got Kailor and big bro Kai out of the canon. Still think Morro hosting Kai instead of Lloyd is a cool concept but i understand why lloyd was tue focus instead. It makes more sense. But just imagine S5 took place before S4 and Morro took over Kai instead of Lloyd instead and used his jealousy of not being the green ninja to take over him and make him turn on his friends then Lloyd fights Kai and gets him out of Morro's control then they both defeat Morro. That way Kai's green ninja arc wouldnt have been completely over and it could lead into S4 where Kai is still jealous and that coudlve been the end of Kai's jealousy arc. It woudlve been a cool idea but tbh i think that the canon story makes more sense.
If only Ninjago would have done this instead of having Lloyd being possessed it would have fit Kai so much more because he and morro have so much more in common. Amazing edit I love it!
Yeah they prolly WOULD have done this but they realized if they wanted the ninja to not have their powers it has to be lloyd, plus lloyds green color scheme fits better with the theme of the season and with morro, morro would look out of place and weird in red

This why I always believed season four should have been a Lloyd season so that possession could've been kais Look at the plot it would honestly be Ninjago's best Kai fighting his inner demons and Lloyd learning he needs to stand on his own two feet plus this could great for his leader arc especially since the ninja couldn't find a new leader themselves plus we could've had Ninjagos best moments Lloyd vs possessed Kai the best parallel to garmadon vs Wu no seriously this would've been amazing
