He Just passed Reinhart for number 2!
If I picked my top 3 goal scorers in the NHL at the start of the year it would be 3. Pastarnak 2. Matthews and 1. McDavid
Would not of expected Hyman to be this far up, on the pace he has been at I would not be surprised to see him have 50 by next week!
Nice that Edmonton came back from being 2 goals down, lets take home the W, win our next few and catch the VGK!

Sticking with Hyman is one of the good things Babcock did during his time in Toronto. Remember when people questioned playing him with Matthews? Did anyone ever see him scoring 40 goals? I know, I know--McDavid. But who else is scoring 40 playing with McDavid who isn't named Leon?

Yeah, I don't remember the source which revealed that Hyman said that he wanted to stay in Toronto but he was never offered the opportunity to negotiate a renewal. I'm really happy that he's having an awesome season in Edmonton.

@@OwenRonaLeafs couldn't afford him with Nylander contract coming up. Plus obviously Matthews, Marner, Tavares and Rielly's contracts and the rest of the players on the books. "...after preliminary negotiations it became clear that the team's salary cap considerations put a deal out of reach."
Would have loved for him to stay in Toronto but hes too good of a player and commands too high a salary for us to afford him plus our big 4.

@dr.brycebanner5676 he's doing better than nylander . The only thing he's behind in if he would've loved to stay in Toronto, they would've made it work instead of spending an extra 6.5 million for few more assists and worse two way player

As for all Canadian Teams well. #2, 5, 9, 11. At #19 Flames are the only Mid Canadian team. However, doesn't really matter as half the league is Canadian. Vegas Almost all Canadian players.
