Great video and explanation. It’s been 3 years since my wife and I have stopped taking communion. It’s like we are commemorating Jesus death over and over again. Instead of celebrating every day his life in us! Jesus came back and rose from the dead, so we rose with him to a new life! His life in us. 1John 4:13. I’ve been sharing your channel with anyone I can. Thanks again for teaching the truth. Be blessed my friend.
Didn't Jesus ask us to eat the bread because it represented his body and to drink the wine because it represented the blood he shed for us? Do this in remembrance of me. I take communion at home for this very word of God.
1 Corinthians 11:25-26 In the same way, after supper Jesus took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. Jesus never said stop taking communion after his resurrection - Jesus is yet to "return" - if you read the book of Revelation carefully. Giving up meeting other believers is not something Jesus asked us to do either. If you look at the ministry of Jesus on earth, and of his closest disciples, they were always meeting, praying and preaching, eating with other believers. Jesus had the biggest open church where he met people everyday and healed them, and preached to them and Jesus commanded us to preach the gospel to everyone. Jesus said he is present when two or more are gathered in his name. If you have a good local church near you, why wouldn't you want to go to church and be blessed? Go to church to serve other believers - just as Jesus did. Don't go to church because it fits your expectations or passes your judgements. We are called to serve. You and your wife could help other believers or maybe they could help you, you will not know unless you meet and greet people at church, even a small home group to pray, worship, study the word and eat together is good! Jesus ate with sinners and with his followers as well.
I have a Catholic friend who told me that the only reason they are allowed to miss church on Sunday is if they are in the hospital. Then asked me if I had gone to church on Sunday. Not sure why I felt a tinge of guilt. But I just said no and I'm glad he didn't ask why lol
Just to add one detail not mentioned in your talk. During the early church days the Bible wasn't available to anyone. Being able to read the Bible wasn't available until after Martin Luther, when the printing press was invented and bibles were made available. Translation was also an issue. The gospels were only available in Latin in early church days. The Preacher or minister shared the stories where written text wasn't available, or listeners couldn't read. Even Christ drew crowds to hear him speak and reveal God to those who came to hear.
I agree with everything you said, but one of the first things you said was not adding to the gospel. So I would say if you are going to a physical building make sure to go to one that has the gospel correct
Unless the people in that building reject the world, it is not an expression of the “real” church. How many organized religious institutions do you know that reject the world?
Those aren’t physical church buildings, but symbolic regions of the ecclesia. The first church building wasn’t even erected until 150 years after Revelation was written.
Thanks for your Faith courage . Do you plan to put this on a book? Let Christianity be Christianity and not churchanity. The youths & young people can smell the toxicity & purgency of churchanity from a mile & running away from it
We give because we have the giver living in us. Hallelujah
This is the only way to grow in Christ! Ive been a baby too long! I want more.
So happy God led you to my path.

Ya it's a mortal sin for Catholics to miss mass. Pray for them they are under heavy burdens and bondage away from the truth
Not in the tenants of the religion. A lot I know only go to mass for Easter and christmas.
