What a first session back out Michael well done. I fished V&A friday evening but a jetski come in close and pulled my rod right over the wall into the silvery Tay.... looking forward to your next video. Tight lines 👏🏻🎣
Thank you Scott, I had thought about over there buy nope. Did you get your rod back ?. When i was fishing i seen 2 maybe 3 jetskis running at the back of Discovery/V&A..
@@michaelbird3226 You made a wise choice going across the water. No did not get the rod back. Spoke to Anglers choice this morning, he said someone else had bother from the jetski guys yesterday.
@@scottdrummond2886 Thank you for that i didn't know anglers choice was actually open. Sad to hear you didn't get rod back. you never know it may turn up along the beach somewhere by a good guy who will try and return it. There must be limits on how close you can come to the sea wall with boats and jetskis. I have had many run ins with the Royal Tay yacht club at Broughty ferry.

Nice to see you back out on the beach fishing mate. Well done catching all them fish. Im actually going out in a hour or so for rays and whatever else bites . Cant wait to see the next one mate .

@@Jules551 Hey i'm no techno freak either, when i first started i really struggled but there's stuff on you tube that can help at times. I have often wondered how many people come to fish or just come to visit because of the videos.
@@michaelbird3226 ty Michael good advice , it's hard to tell about people whether it's for fishing or the places you fish , but whatever it is for me it's both, when I come up to Edinburgh to visit family I now have fishing spots I know to go to thx to you wee man
Well done Michael on passing a 1000 subs. great video plenty of fish i need you to do a blessing on my rod and reels to up my ability. all the best Vernon.
Glad to see you out again. One time last summer i was spinning there with a mepps, in clear water the number of little flounders that were following it in was incredible. How about st andrews next time while the students aren't around? Cheers.
Thank you Snagged again, I was talking about that on another forum some one was mentioning that they got a flounder with a spinner. I said it can be done better on a clean beach another thing that works is just working a 1 or 1/2 oz weight small hook and little rag slowly dragged along the bottom. I caught a sand goby at Broughty beach a few years ago with the rag. I was actually thinking of heading over that way been a while right enough.
Myself and my son fished Wormit in November last year . We didn't know how to get to the pier so we fished further along the shore . We had a nice day , but it was chilly . My son caught a cracking fish , that looked like a Sea trout , but unfortunately we lost it in the surf as we had a pile of weed on the line as well . It came up to the surface and made a big splash , before disappearing again . We will definitely go back again .
When you're going through Wormit keep a sharp eye for the harbour sign, you turn down the road about 10ft then you make a sharp right down a steep road be aware it can get busy down there as there is a lot of people in the boating club. There's a chance it could have been a trout i wa surprised i didn't get one but heard one was caught on the sat.
You'll need an Alice band Michael if the hair gets any longer, either that or get it braided. Can't believe you've managed to get another suveran. Glad too see you are allowed out now though and cheers for another good vid and keep safe and well.

Try attaching a bag of stones to the tripod with a bungee cord
I'm thinking of fixing a piece of canvas to the bottom of each leg about 1ft square and put rocks etc on that so they are held down solid.
