- what's everyone johnnythegeek here with this new key board from Corsair. The K68 retails for $99.99 here in the US and the amazon link is here: j.mp/2sp0nuG
There is a Cherry Blue switch version but unfortunately that version is only available in Korean.
Forgive me for some editing mistakes. I didn't have time to warp stabilize everything because I am on my way to get some E3 footage. Stay tuned for that!

I am considering buying this keyboard, your video really helped. The sound test was top notch (no background noise).
Wow, i looked up alot of reviews on this keyboard but you have the best review by far. Very well done!
yes it is very detailed
Great review! I am typing this reply on a used K68 I just picked up today. I have a K70 with Cherry blue switches at home which I love,. This K68 came up for sale locally. So I snatched it up to take to work. I figured it had the Cherry red switches, and your review confirmed that for me. Thanks so much for such a detailed review.
Just bought the RGB version of this with the Cherry MX blue switches 👍🔥
I have the K55 Corsair keyboard and the M65 Elite from corsair, how do you like the Key feeling? Im thinking on upgrading

How’s it going so far? After all the time u have been using can u see it’s reliable and a good quality keyboard?
Melon Head yup
It's just been used lightly but still works like a charm
@@MrTheObviousCaptain I know I'm late but I've had this keyboard for about 2 months and I can say it is a very reliable and good quality keyboard
had this keyboard for over 3 years so i thought id give my experience with it in case someone is deciding whether to buy it or not. since buying this keyboard a fair number of things have gotten damaged which is to be expected, but it gives a good idea on what to look out for.
the first thing to break was one of the 4 clips on the wrist rest, this happened within a couple of months of owning the keyboard which was fairly disappointing. as far as im aware they have switched the clipping style of rests which i think would most likely fix this issue if true, the only reason i can think of that caused this would be the stress you need to put on the plastic to release it.
the second issue is a couple of the keycaps have started to crack, the first of which being the W key, my thought is that i just put too much pressure on it when gaming. this happened around 2.5 years after purchase. i decided to switch it out for the NUMPAD 8 key since it was on the same level to avoid further damage to it. the space bar seems to have a crack on it as well, but this happened withing the last couple weeks. both of these keys could easily be repaired by a small dot of glue on it but its something to know to look out for with any keyboard, mainly because new matching keys can be hard to find.
the one of the more irritating things to break is one of the kickstands for the keyboard, when i looked at both the broken and working stand its easy to see that there is a fair amount of stress on them.
the spill resistance on the keyboard is a life saver, this is one of the things im extremally happy with ive spilled liquid on my keyboard multiple times and i think thats probably the reason its still functional. the only issue is that to clean the silicon cover properly you need to disassemble the keyboard to remove it which is annoying, but its my own fault for spilling something on it.
with all of these issues it may seem like i dont recommend the keyboard but thats far from the truth, this keyboard has survived for over 3 years of relentless daily use so i was expecting at least some damage it this point. i 100% recommend this keyboard to anyone thinking about buying it its a great price for something that will most definitely last years.
TL;DR
great keyboard overall, various issues to look out for in the long term which should be expected. most issues i experienced with this keyboard was most definitely because if my brutal use of it.
One of my fav keyboard ever I tried tons of keyboards this one is my fav❤
Bought this to replace a Corsair Strafe MK2, accidentally spilled a glass of coke over it while in VR and the Strafe did not hold up, hopefully the K68 will fair better.
Yoo awesome job dude 🙏
Very good keyboard ! How do you get the program? You need to download it or its just automaticly comes on your pc.
And im here crying seeing my strafe got tea spill
Howdy, do you think I can get to the back panel to insert foam mod. .. afraid to remove plastic .
i cnat connect my cosair k68 to the software please help me
After like 10 months of using this (I think I got this at the start of 2021) rn the plastic has been like dead, i'm not sure if i'm a hardcore gamer or this keyboard doesn't last too long. :C
You mean the keycaps? Are they all oily and/or have the legends not as clearly visible than before? Those keycaps are made out of a type of plastic called abs, which is normally less durable and prone to such stuff after prolonged use. PBT is another type of plastic that is a little bit more resistent to shine and the legends last longer on it. You can even search up a keycap replacement set online if that's the issue you are having, and use your board just fine after doing the simple replacement. A plenty of companies produce them, and you could get them in different colours and stuff. They also have a really nice texture when you run your fingers over them!
@@grubbygeorge2117 yes keycaps. but i actually find it cool, it looks like my keyboard is a veteran, it looks cooler now. don't worry about it :)
@@lGNITED veteran keyboard. I love that mindset

Tense1983’s keyboard..
can you change lighting effects without the software ?
Plz answer his question... ^^^^
Yes you can, but the software is a better way of doing it, anyways is a free software so it's not a big deal
Cloudy I know but you can’t install the software on an IMac. How do you change it without the software? With wich buttons?
@@JulesSomers it comes with a manual which tells you how. I have the keyboard and it goes like this
FN +1 SPIRAL RAINBOW
FN +2 RAIN
FN +3 RAINBOW WAVE
FN +4 VISOR
FN +5 TYPE LIGHTING (KEY)
FN +6 TYPE LIGHTING (RIPPLE)
FN +7 COLOR SHIFT
FN +8 COLOR PULSE
FN +9 COLOR WAVE
FN +0 NO LIGHTING
FN + - STATIC. SWITCH THROUGH COLORS ON KEYPRESS
The FN button comes with the keyboard
Note: If you are thinking about buying it, you should, I just got it for 79.99 on bestbuy and this is a 120 dollars keyboard
