    Dear Annie and Daisy, thank you so much for the mention and the link. Your garden is stunning, a sight for sore eyes. I particularly love to see the Yellow Loosestrife as we don't have it here. Many blessings to you, lovely "cousins" xxx

    What a gorgeous tour of your beautiful wild medicinal garden! Thank you so much for your endorsement of Danu's Irish Herb Garden, its so heartening to see and connect with like minds rejoicing in nature's bounty in this crazy world. I hope you recover quickly from your cold - your salad fresh from the garden will help, no doubt. Love and blessings from the west of ireland ❤

      You have also created a beautiful paradise of your garden and your cottage is amazing! Terri and I often feel overwhelmed by how many half-finishrd jobs we have to do and plans to fulfill and forget to just sit and enjoy the works of nature, in spite of our shortcomings as co-creators. Stuff just wants to grow, regardless!

    Your cottage is so pretty on the outside. I'm hoping my kitchen will have a similar look to yours when I decorate it. I'm not keen on kitchen cupboards plus I'm turning my under stair cupboard into a pantry. Seeing all the beautiful flowers in your garden, I to am growing plants and flowers that are medicinal as I find that subject so interesting. Thank you for a lovely video and look forward to seeing more of them🙂

    This is beautiful! Natural gardens are better for wildlife, I have a wild garden not as pretty as yours sadly, I am a herbalist too. People need to be aware that the shouldn't mix over the counter or prescriptions medicines and herbal medicine. I watch Danu Irish herb garden as well.

    Hello from Cwm Tawe. The kitchen garden does look very pretty. I love the yellow loosestrife, so I shall have to get some. And your salad looks amazing. Peas never even make it out of my polytunnel I`m afraid. I put nasturtium flowers in a salad for my daughter and her family at lunch time. My son in law was not impressed!! I`m looking forward to your next garden tour.

    Inspiring as always. Just started low carb way of life and salads have become a mainstay unsurprisingly. Yours salad looked a lot more interesting than anything I’ve produced, although I’m fast learning that herbs make a superb addition. Will have to look out for a good book on the subject. Can you recommend anything I wonder? Thanks for the video.

      Thank you so much. I would find reducing carbs tough so I'm very impressed. I'm afraid I don't know of any books. I do find that different dressings, adding roasted veg and toasted nuts/seeds are a good way to make salads more interesting x

    Thank you so much…wonderful garden! I have heard you can eat pansies in salads and such. Are those the same panties sold at stores? I would like to grow my own. That way I know they won’t be exposed to chemicals. Any suggestions on where to buy seeds?

    • @cerridwencottagediary9194
      @cerridwencottagediary9194  5 месяцев назад

      Thank you so much. We like to eat the native violets and pansies (called heartsease) that we grow in the garden. I wouldn't personally eat the ones from the shops as they will have been sprayed and the pansies sold as annual bedding have had the goodness for pollinators and us bred out of them. If you do an online search for wild flower seed or native plants for sale for your area that would probably be your best bet x
