RUclips seems to keep hiding comments. I got a notification of another comment you made on this video about retrofitting shop lights with LED but the comment is not here and I don't see it waiting to be approved or anything either. This has happened a few times in the last few weeks.

In an earlier video about grow lights you mentioned the LEDs you have. I’m wondering if you can tell me what size of a growing space one of those lights can cover? Your lights were square and I’m wondering if they would cover a larger square foot area because they are so much more powerful in comparison to the shop lights that are fluorescent. Thank you.

The Spider Farmer and Mars Hydro square LED lights I have on one of my shelves covers about 2x2'. My shelf is 4' wide so these two do a good job of covering the full shelf. They do put out more light than fluorescents but they also take up a lot more space since you can't have them as close to the plants as the fluorescents.

Nice. Just curious about how the climate is where you live. Here in Germany we (I at least) start chinense and pubescens around start or latest mid December. January and February are for the annuums and the rest of the types. Stoked to see how they grow over the season.
Edit: Forgot to add that that method of germination works wonders for old seeds. Highly recommend. Don't use it though if you have kids or cats that have access to that room. My boy shook my bag and I have no idea which peppers have germinated lol

Our average last frost here is in mid-April. I have started chinense as early as December in the past but haven't found it to be much different than starting in early February. That reminds me. I have one pubescens I'm growing this year and should probably get that started.

Is there a pepper udate, how you proceed after germination?

I've done quite a few pepper growing videos over the years. Once they start growing a few true leaves I repot them into individual cells. I have a video on that process here: ruclips.net/video/dsH998Oy67o/видео.html If you look in the description of that video there is one before it and a part 3 and 4 after this one.

Thank you for the quick response. I wasn't clear enough with my question. I was referring to the paper towel method. Your video leaves off with you putting them on a heat mat with a blanket over them. What's after that? I looked through a few of your other videos but didn't fine the next step. When they start to sprout, when, and how do you move them to a cell?
Also, I noticed you mention a few times in various videos, that some seeds don't need light until they germinate, like the peppers under the blanket. I've never heard that, can you expound on that, which seeds?
Again, thank you for the quick reply. I'm not expecting you to type out everything if you have a video on my topics, but if you can, or direct me to a video.
Thank you again, I enjoy the content!!

Ah ok. Here’s an old one on what to do next. I use a toothpick to get them out and plant in potting soil with root end down and lightly cover with soil. If it gets stuck you can cut the paper towel and plant it with a piece of paper towel. Though I’ve broken a root and it still grew. ruclips.net/video/IaEROsjSMso/видео.htmlsi=ytA-CcA3zuSeHhvo

Again, thank you so much for the quick reply!! LOL, yeah, as soon as I clicked on the link you sent, 2 other of your videos popped up, from 7 years ago, and 5 years ago!! I didn't search back far enough!!The paper towel method is a great idea!
Hate to be a nag...but again in these videos you mention seeds not needing light to germinate? Is that all seeds until they show root?
      Thanks again for your help!!

Oh sorry forgot to answer that question. There’s a ton of flowers that require light to germinate. I think all my recent flower starting videos I’ve posted in last couple months had flowers that required light. Also some herbs.
