The organization was bad. If they are going to hold the Copa America in the United States... They would have known in advance to ask the police authorities and avoid that type of problem. It's not Superbowl and even less Baseball. In South America, these cases are prevented. The police operation must always be present and surround at various points in the stadiums. Inside and outside. Have a perimeter to prevent them from piling up and in a row. They didn't.

In South America they always arrange themselves like this to prevent barras bravas or fans... respect and do not cause disorder. I don't recall AT&T stadium ever having theses issues, even at this year’s Copa games. They keep a tight operation there, it's definitely stadium dependent how the crowds are handled, if I'm an usher in a section, someone is seat poaching all I do is tell them to move. If they don't, I just get security to get them on outta there! It's not that hard to do, but I'm thinking a lot of stadiums were short staffed here when they shouldn't have been.

The problem is sports in the us are family friendly like watching some movie in the theatre xd the us is not ready to handle hyped up crowds from all over the world. If you think its the people to blame, check out the how the city and police is involved in events like this in europe even if its a german league game. The us just wants to grab peoples money but they dont give a shit about them thats why it happened, they were not prepared and they are taking 0 responsibility, blaming these people instead.

Conmebol cut corners everywhere for this tournament and sold out. But the USA isn't blameless either because they let Conmebol be cheap at every level of this tournament. They were charging 5k for tickets, and they can't afford extra security after what happened at Charlotte? This makes everyone involved look bad. Fans, organizers, and host country all share some blame.

  • @facundomorinigo1495

Both Conmebol and the USA did not know how to organize a football match. For a country that is defined as one of the safest in the world, it leaves a lot to be desired. They don't know how to control these types of events, they want the money and they don't care about people's safety. They think about money, money and only money. I recommend that you listen to the conference that Bielsa gave after the match between Colombia and Uruguay so that you understand a little more about this sport. USA is not a holy innocent. I like your videos, greetings!!!

Everything that you just said basically describes CONMEBOL. They wanted all the profit, unlike 2016 where it was shared with USSF and cheapened out on everything. So the USSF had no part in this tournament. This is a country that hosts venues literally all the time, including a World Cup in 94. This was all CONMEBOL’s doing, make no mistake on that

As a Miami resident I am glad I didn't go to that shit show. They ripped people off with US$2,000 dollar tickets most who could not even get in and as high as US$66,000 dollars what. Conmebol is the worst federation among all in Fifa. I blame mostly the Colombian fans maybe some Argentina fans, and Conmebol not as much USA organizers which are usually responsible. Why was there no extra times in this Copa America compared to the Euro in knock off games? Who does a half time show in half time during a soccer-football championship? Shakira show was great and most of the tournament entertaining for the Americas. Marcelo Bielsa was right to criticize the security and the grass measurements and controversial referee decisions such as the non penalty which was not awarded to Brazil. The corruption and poor organization in Conmebol from South America shows they are behind Africa, North America, Oceania, Asia, UEFA in organization.

The US is better at organizing a coup than a soccer match. The police are not prepared for these events. And the police are from the state. And they were very, very lucky that there were no deaths. The US does not know how to organize soccer matches at this level. Scaloni had already announced it in the first game. As soon as the American Cup started. And Bielsa also denounced the disorganization. The outcome was sung

The blame goes to both sides the FANS for coming with no tickets trying to enter the stadium with force and USA for its bad organisation, you are holding a copa america games and not some random MLS games , so you should be ready and be pfepared for this kind of stuff and especially if it is a final, even choosing this stadium with its small capacity is questionable the final should be played in a stadium that has larger capacity so that the majority of fans can attend their national team game, plus another thing despite what happened in the final is the quality of some pitches was totally bad many players and coaches complained about it. So the blame should go first to USA for not being capable to organise this copa america and then the fans.
