thank you... i use a chip resetter. had same issue. i was inspired by your video so i jammed that bastard in/ out /in / out till i heard that "click" sound you referred to... it took one or two more time but i got it to work by moving the tank just the slightest bit clockwise then counterclockwise as i inserted it. just that little jiggle seemed to make the sensor read the chip. :)

The only information I can give you is in the video, just take the casing off and clean everything and wiggle the box until it ingauges sorry not much help

I have to ask, how did you come out on this beast. Myself i'm going to have to retired mine. It is just to expensive to own. I never made any money off of it. I just wanted to know how you came out. Did you get it printing again? You have more patience then I do. I have a Epson repair service I take mine to in Chicago. Last time the bill was $600:00. Mine still works, but I need to get rid of it. I know it wont bring me much. And if I don't get a fair price, iI will just recycle it. So let me know how you came out. I watched all three videos on your grief. It had to be a nightmare.
Very much the same really, I didn't realise how out of date the technology was when I bought it. I've struggled to print the right sizes but muddled through. it's going again after getting some spares from the States, know one over here in the UK would brake a printer for parts. I've got another set of ink cartridges when they run out that's it, I saw one on eBay for £20 crazy

Sorry no idea, if your in the UK you can have mine and all the ink cartridges and frames as I don't use it anymore
