You guys were lost in the beauty of this song that your brain couldn't process the complexities of shooting in such a difficult condition. It was a nightmare for DoP guys. It's anything but simple.
Malaika was the only one with a "harness", actually just a rope they tied around her waist and down to the train under her skirt, because she kept bouncing around on the train. When they untied the rope later they found bleeding rope burns and bruises. I believe she was a replacement hire and only had a week or two to learn her steps and the song lyrics for lip syncing.
I think Shahrukh was the only one without the 'harness', rest everyone had a harness. Shahrukh didn't have one because of the jumping he had to perform.
