The “glint” trick is something I learned back in the 80s when I started to learn the Quantel Paintbox. We all had our own particular “glints” we had made and would manually drag them across the image/logo/text as we were outputting the graphics to video. Some tricks just work no mater how old they are.
Any body wanna learn davinci resolve this is the place or channel you are the best 🎉😊

Loved this, thanks for the easy and thorough walkthrough, and for spicing the button up a bit as a bonus. 👍😊
The breakthrough in understanding nodes is amazing. Excellent teaching👏
The right place for learning Fusion.
Me: I strung together five nodes in Fusion. I’m crushing it today!
Casey: Here’s a pretty basic 16-node graph I’m using to demonstrate rudimentary Fusion skills.
Me: 🤔
Haha Its ok! You got this! I feel the same way about fusion sometimes, and def lots of other things too!!!
great up to 4:30, then my free version stated acting peculiar...I managed to work around it and bingo! another nice one Casey, thx!
Gob smacked! You've hit another home run Mr Faris. Thank you.
Thank you for this! I’ve gotten a lot of subscribe presets, but learning this simple button is going to be way more fun to make. And the playback won’t suffer, either.
You're killing it with the uploads bro. Thanks so much for helping us simple After Effects folk transition to Fusion :)
I love these GFX, Tutorials❤🔥❤
I couldn't figure out how to create a button in Fusion that would, for example, be white and go transparent on the right and left sides. The color transition is supposed to be subtle and I've never been able to do that. I also don't know how to make the color exactly centered in the rectangle. The gradient can be set manually, but how do I do it accurately?
2:38 ed bassmaster 😁
Fantastic tutorial as always Casey, thank you! How do I remove the white background to be able to export this as an AVI to use in other videos? The alpha channel doesn't seem to be having any effect, and if I remove the White_BG then it removes everything
Edit: For those struggling with the same issue: Make sure all the colour channels are set to 0 and change the export settings to Format > QuickTime, Codec > GoPro CineForm, Type > RGB 16-Bit and then tick the box Export Alpha
This is great. I followed along and it really helped me see the order in what can look like a chaos of nodes. Thank you!
Truly inspiring and to understand the node system. Soon be investing in your courses.
More Fusion tutorials!!! I just love it
I just got to say your video helps a lot and I watch them when I am stuck but I got a question how can I animate like manga or comic pitchers as like a video I have tried to find many ways but I wan unsuccessful to pls do make a video about this if you can
I'm new at this, can someone tell me how do I put this on my videos without the white background ?
Awesome tutorial, trying to learn Fusion so I'll stick around
Another awesome tutorial by Casey - Keep em coming!!!
Thankyou
Im learning but you go so fast. My brain doesn't work that fast anymore LOL
I felt the same way, then I remember someone suggesting that I go to settings in RUclips and change playback speed. It made life a lot easier for me
clear as mud - that was easy - you bet
I think I am going to steal this button for my videos !
Thanks Casey :)
Do it!!! Tag me when you do!
I will definitely!!
Can you tell me how you implemented this animation in your videos? I have no idea how to remove that white background :/
Wow, consider my mind blown. Great video!
once we make it, how do we save it to use in other videos?
Hey Casey, how come every time I highlight the nodes click on the first merge and hit backspace they disappear
How can I make this animation independent of the duration of the fusion composition that is created ?
Where you are grouping stuff together and you select all of them they you go to merge 1 and back space. There is no back space on a Mac, if y ou hit delete is deletes everything that was selected. Can't figure that one out.
I'm having the same issue
@@mstrmavisvermillion I jumped on DaVinci Resolve in Reddit and u/proxicent suggested that I watch more carefully. I slowed it down and I was making it harder than it has to be.
All Casey was doing was explaining the group concept to us.
Go back to your node editor (without highlighting anything, click merge 1 then back space (deleting merge 1) and follow the rest of the tutorial.
I can’t believe I missed that
Hope this helps
Hey Casey, I have made a few of these on here now. How do I save them so I can use them in other projects. I tried putting them in 'Power Bin', but when I go to another project, it shows them there but it has 'Media Offline' on it. When I go back to the original project they are there and usable. I have searched on here and can't find how to save them. Can you help?
awsome video! But I think the audio is too low...
This is pretty cool!
-How many nodes for a simple animation?
-Yes
could you make a tutorial on how to make also a like animation and a comment animation? Please. 🙏 But really good video and very helpful. 😌
Pretty Cool 😎👌
I did made MrWhoseTheBoss Subscribe Animation recently 😅
So how do you add it as a title?!
I've been at this ages now🙁all goes ok until i try grouping them together by highlighting then hitting backspace. Just gets rid of all the nodes highlighted so then cannot connect as you say after. I'm on the free version if that makes a difference🙄
I'm having the same issue, I'm using 19.3 Beta, that may be the problem?
@UnK1999 I was using 18.6, so I doubt it. Either we are doing something wrong or there is a step missing in edit😁👍
@@mellowr1 Hopefully @CaseyFaris can clear this up for us. I’m looking forward to completing this animation and moving on to the bouncy Animated Subscribe Button 💯‼️
@@UnK1999 I've done the subscribe button👍😎

As per usual, you just knocked that out of the proverbial resolve park my friend. that was a stellar tutorial. Is there a way to add the ‘button click’ sound into that animation ?
Sure, throw it in on the edit page!
@@CaseyFaris thanks…duh! I’m on the iPad version. Officially I have no edit page. Unofficially I have access to it.
Cool.
Hey Casey ... your first two links go to a 404 page .... just thought I would let you know :)
10:14
It is so overwhelming. There is no way I understand how these nods interact with one another. 9:20 here happens magic. Some connections disappear and no idea what happened.
You can do it! Check out my Toast video I posted a few days ago
Well. How do I actually put it in my video? This is really crucial information that tutorial lacks@@CaseyFaris
A bit too fast that I find it hard to catch up
I got lost a bit too, then I thought not all the steps will need to apply. I believe he was just showing a number of ways to help spark creativity, but I could be wrong...
I sure hope your course is slower then this lol, you are like a machine but i can understand its quick tutorial. lol
