Hi Angela:). I love watching you sew! You are a real pro! Your machine is beautiful! I’ve had the same Singer machine since high school. It needs to be oiled every so often and sometimes a new belt. It survived the flood cuz it was in the cabinet made for that particular machine and I oiled it right as soon as I could. The quilt is so darling~ perfect for a baby girl:). I could watch you sew all day:) Thank you for taking the time to show us how to do it👍👍😊♥️🙏👶👩🍼🫄
Also TEMU just cuts out the middle man. Instead of Amazon buying from China we go straight to China. Everything we own is made in China. We in the USA hardly manufacture anything. A certain past president about three back outsourced everything to them. And the frightening part is that we are not on very good terms with China. So what happens if it comes to we can’t import ANYTHING from them because of sanctions or war. We better know how to make do or do without. All these skills will be important. Don’t think it couldn’t happen because all you have to do it watch the news.
Angela, what size seams are you making? Are they 1/2 inch or larger? Lol. You just told us you’re using a 5/8 inch seam. Thank you. I just love this quilt. It’s beautiful!
My Gingher scissors have their own scissor case they live in. No one is allowed to touch them but me lol Your quilts are so pretty. I’ve done some out of scraps too and those are the best to me. More memories
My man had a thing about Carolina work boots being made in USA . Well he was right ten years ago they were, but 5 years ago the tags changed over to made in China he didn't believe me until he went on the hunt and went he found out I was right! He's carpenter and believes in buying American made your right about safety pins but guess what aluminum doesn't rust . LoL the quilt is cute. Good job I'm sure some people will learn a lot. My mom had a sears sewing machine for 40 years she used it was the beginning of the cam generation where you could put decorative edge seams on clothing. Pretty neat and it did last years! But today nothing new last even refrigerator is guaranteed 5 years,! We live in a disposable community anymore.
This is going to be such a good reference. It’s funny I don’t have any scraps anymore. I must have tossed them. But this makes me want to make one of these. ❤
I have my gingher scissors I bought in like 1974 both the scissors and the ..my mind...the zig zag ones... And they are still like new, sharp as ever! Your quilt is beautiful! I just discovered rag quilting. I don't have room to do actual quilting and even if I had a dedicated sewing room I don't have the patience , I'm too dumb to do all of that geometry and too frugal to have all that wasted material. I'd rather slow stitch with the scraps, make yo yos etc. I was looking at a kawandi quilt and found this type that I can do! 27:1827:46
Hi Angela this is a beautiful quilt I love home made quilts I collect them. They also have a tool that fluffs up the edges. Your an amazing lady for sure. Thanks for sharing😊❤
I don't like qualting but I really are going to do this. About making video from the top. Go to a mobile accessory shop or your online store. Buy a stand that clips into your table. I am not sure where to buy one for a canara. It's pretty cheap about 30 us dollars. You get one's that hold different size like normal cell to tablet.
My Mum has a Singer machine buried away in her house, I may try to dust it off and give sewing a go again. I used to love doing it at school (many moons ago) 😂
I made my mom a rag quilt for mother's day several years ago and she loved it. I cut everything out and laid it out on the floor before I sewed it so I had a pattern that I liked. I had to buy a better pair of scissors to cut the fringe and ended up cutting the fringe after it was all put together.
hello very nice lady you do hand sewing and sewing by machine you can use a hand sewing needle threader to put inside the sewing machine needle to thread the sewing machine needle please kindly try it and let me know how it works please kindly let me know ok?thank you very much 😊

Thank you for always sharing. I love your videos and you are such a sweetheart 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for sharing your sewing projects ! They are wonderful. Love watching thx.
My thoughts exactly about buying from China.
The U S makes it difficult for American manufacturers, that's why everything comes frm China.
You are entertaining and a very good teacher Angela. I am going to make one!❤❤
Hi. Just love your videos and your honesty.
That's so cute. I've always wanted to try a quilt but I'm not great at sewing. My sewing machine hates me. You make it look so easy!
Thank you, you are a vey good teacher to explain all that so that it’s understandable.
Beautiful quilt. Thanks for sharing.❤❤❤

Amen on Temu!! Almost everything we buy is from China! I'm like you.. people downing Temu when they are doing the same thing..
I think don’t they read the labels and tags?
❤Beautiful job❤❤❤

That’s for sure. My new washer broke. It cost $450 to fix it. That’s almost what I paid for it.

I loved making mine. In two days. So quick. Course a big one would take longer. They are so easy a young person can make them too.
beautiful!
Love this❤
Love it❣️
You are the best!😊
I don't even sew..not interested... but I watched the whole video because your voice is soothing and reassuring. Thanks
