My youngest son is six he is requesting a switch lite for xmas. He doing great in school and most times listens to his dad and I remind him school is like his job right now and manners will take him where money cant!
Hi mother of 26 yr old 18 yr old and 10 year old who have all the gaming systems, there really is no point to switch lite ( the point is they can switch between portable gaming system and console for tv) you are better off getting a Nintendo 3ds as a portable gaming system other than a switch lite

@@wecanallread sorry if that seemed rude I just meant my son is an avid gamer and we had a switch lite and ended up swapping it online for the newest 3ds as it had more features was better to transport etc I wasn't sure you knew about the consoles my friend baught two for her son's just because they were a bit cheaper ( she figured it was a memory size thing or something ) and her kids were shattered when they couldn't plug it in to TV and you miss out on the whole joycon controllers . I've actually just kept out one of our WII's for my nephew's to play with. I'm sure your son will love whatever you get . And he obviously has a great mum

100% agree with nixing christmas gifts and making it a family vacation. THAT is memories that your kids will remember NOT a box they unwrapped. Start a photo album for each child and start marking occasions like that.

This one thing I can't rock with. Tired of these people selling these systems for 2 or 3 times the price to make money off of people. Everybody not able. I'm glad you were able to do this for your sons Peach, but us regular folk, with regular jobs, and regular money don't appreciate paying over 1000 dollars for a 500 dollar system. Just like he got it from Best Buy, you could have too, and so could so many people looking for these systems coming up to the holidays. They are taking advantage of the pandemic and the fact that the companies cant manufacture these products as quickly as they did precovid.I mean, I get everybody need a hustle, but not when it takes advantage of others for personal gain. And that's why you can't find them anywhere, because of people like him. Hustle my ass. It'll be 5 years by the time my son see that X Box Series X...

I’m still on the hunt for 2 ps5’s. My oldest got one through a special invite only event. We take our kids to Disney World every year. They also get Christmas presents when we get home. I thank God that we are able to provide these things fir our children.

Unfortunately it’s the shortage of the semiconductor used in the systems 😩 it’s happening in medical equipment, cars, and other electronics but because everyone wants the new system they’re not able to meet the demands and restock until the shortage goes away
