That is a bike that no one owns. They are merely the present caretaker. I think, that for now, you are the perfect caretaker of that motorcycle. You should hold onto it until you find someone that is worthy of the job being passed onto.

I've been riding for over 50 years and have owned 3 BSA'S, 6 or so Triumphs, and many Honda's etc. I'm down to 1 63 TR6 that has been with me since 82 and till I'm done. Would love to have almost every single one back and would keep that gem in a heartbeat ..JIM

At this stage I can already smell the exhaust. Through the video all I could think was wiring. Never done a Triumph but I always want to rush the wiring to fire up a new engine. But you are the MAN and that's done, can't wait for the fire up!!!
Maybe it's time for the wifey to have her own bike and the Judge could be it. I've never had a passenger. Every woman I've been with either got her own or stayed home, I know- I am an ass.

I missed this episode on Sunday. I was out of town, at "Canada's Largest Outdoor Flea Market" apparently. This cool older cat had a shed full of tools (and some good stories) and I rooted around in one of the boxes and found myself some Witworth wrenches! 🙂

I would take it on a nice long road trip with some buddies. Maybe head to the Ozarks for an amazing ride. Then, If you’re looking to finance your next project, either raffle it or make it one of the Forgotten Angels bikes. But honestly, I don’t sell anything, so I’d just keep it. Still go to the Ozarks with my buddies, but just keep it.

Awesome machine. Love your show. I've got a couple unit Triumphs. I'd daily ride it. Kind of a shop truck. Through some old period correct looking leather bags and use it for picking up parts. I want to build my 69 bonnie to resemble this bike your building.

So I missed the ring compressor removal. I am assuming you get the pistons started and take it out before dropping the cylinders on. really like watching you fix them old bikes :)

Oh That Bike is so awesome, hard to say what you should do with it. I mean, if I had it i would keep it till the day i died, I would also have to go to town teaching myself to to TRIUMPH for sure because, i doubt I would trust anyone to tinker with it if something occurred. Since i could never afford to buy it though and You are already triumph schooled hard core, i'd suggest you keep it forever. but i know how ya are and you always got something going on and I know it;s hard to say but sometimes people say I have too many! LOL this ones so cool though, i imagine it sitting next to the rainmaker. ( yeah, if I had won that raffle broham, i'd be sending you a pic every Christmas . Moondog on the Rainmaker LOL... and My wife would still be mad of course.

@@weemsmotorco Thanks for adding all the detail on the SQUISH - It took me about 12 full hours today; slowed down by rocker box gasket removal, and the 100 tries to get the intake pushrods into position. Now to get some mileage on it and hopefully not bathe the engine cases in oil!!!

It's good that gaskets are now being used and attempts made to keep the oil inside. The Richter video is well worth a watch, he waffles on occasion, but goes more in depth and seems competent. It's worth buying a new Amal Premier carb, if Mikuni is considered unoriginal, then you won't have a worn Amal body, slide and inaccessible pilot passage to drive you nuts on mixture settings.

keep it , its got history that needs retaining as is taking into account how you rebuilt it , a museum hmm No it needs to be used or at least taken to shows when you go , sell or raffle a possibility but then a new owner could change it and lose the history , so defiantly keep it a family bike for all to enjoy for many years to come

First could you please tell me what brand spring compressor you use? Now as for the bike it seems for now you are the caretaker of its story and you are adding to it. When I see a bike that the shadetree surgeon has up for the raffle it's seeing his adventures on the bike and the work he puts into it that makes it cool and that is what you are doing with the judge. Have fun go on adventures and maybe someday pass it on to the next one. Take care and be safe
