He started taking drugs in highschool when he looked up to rappers like future who were sipping lean and stuff like that, then he self medicated heart break/ depression with drugs but soon he realized that they weren’t really helping and soon he was just too far gone when it came to addiction and he just couldn’t stop and get sober. When he was sober he suffered with withdrawals and depression and when he was on drugs obviously it only brought him closer to his death. He dealt with that dilemma until it eventually killed him and it’s just sad man.
He was fighting against substance abuse which was brought to him when he was even younger and came from the glorification of drugs from artists like future.
@@guinness1447 There's a clip or interview out there about when Future and Juice were making their collab album, Juice was hyped up and turns to Future and says he was drinking lean cuz of him and bumping his shit when he was younger and now it's dope collabing with him. "Sit back in my chair, relaxing and reclining, he has not a care in the world no I'm lying". That line hit me hard. Some of these rappers always look so chill and laid back but they really be stressed and pressured.
Bro, that line means so much, we actively suppress our worries and then act surprised when mental health pushes people to OD and commit suicide when what we really need to do is normalize empathy and struggle, if we can't talk about our problems/feelings then what can we really talk about?
"will i be alright, let me guess no answer right" shit hits different man. people always try and tell you not to worry and you'll be alright eventually , but in reality nobody really knows its just false hope
Exactly its bullshit. People say oh it gets better with time but they never stay that way. The same way things get better things get worse too or bad things happen again. Better to have no expectations and just keep going
Hey man, things often do play out alright. Within time, you’ll understand! I promise brother, the sucky part is not having that life experience yet to know that my words are true.
The mind is a really complicated thing. I often get bouts of depression. Sometimes for obvious reasons and other times not. Some things make me happier than others, and sometimes I drop right back down. Nobody really knows what's going on unless they were plugged into your brain. And the victim doesn't even know why sometimes as well (through my own experience). When you're just so damn stressed all the time it's like an on/off switch that activates whenever it wants to. It's just one of those things that exists that we try to push through. It sucks.
He became using medication at a early age cause of his mom, but then at like 8 grade he started to sippin lean and a lot of drugs cause of future( he was influenced by his music ) he was already a drug addict by the time he was at highschool but then a girlfriend of his broked up with him and do him dirty which led to him taking more drugs Btw thats all i know, maybe i got something wrong or something is missing
Yeah that sums it up pretty well, another thing that led to taking drugs was his new girlfriend (Ally) she hated to see him taking drugs and yelled at him when she caught him taking pills. Which led juice to feeling like he let her down. So he started doing it more often when she wasn't around
I love watching your reactions because you actually listen to the bars and understand what’s the artist is actually saying not just nodding ur head the whole time and saying it’s fire 🤣🤣salut to you
Out of all of your reactions, you definitely felt this one the most 🙏🏼 Juices lyrics are powerful yet heartbreaking and we’ve never seen you feel the pain of through the lyrics! Love and Positivity 🔥
Juice was the type of person to really wear his heart on his sleeve. Many things affected him that may not affect other people. He suffered from depression and anxiety that he developed from a young age. When he was first diagnosed with ADHD he was put on meds. He hated the meds, they made him feel like he was worthless. This sparked many different issues in his life that ultimately lead to his demise. He was my favorite, I will never forget juice. 999 for ever.

Sad fact: future influenced him to drink codeine in highschool and when future found out he was really disappointed Bc that’s not what he was trying to influence the kids to do
Yeah in the beginning of rap all the artists weren’t trying to glorify drugs, they were explaining there hurt and used drugs to try to help. They was trying to tell there story but that inadvertently inspired many youths to try the same
@Sean Bunting sometimes depression doesn't really have a reason (could be early childhood issues etc who knows, could have just been clinical), and then it is perpetuated and fed through drug use and never goes away.
@Antonio Brown ptsd is ongoing chronic stress/rumination from traumatic past experiences, and keep in mind when you're a child you can develop trauma from things that seem meaningless as an adult, such as witnessing parents fight, being bullied, etc. Theres a common misconception that PTSD belongs to veterans but it belongs to anyone that is dealing with lots of stressful experiences bottled up inside.
Such high potential to be a legend, sucks to lose those young. He was soooo different but his demons were so deep. The things that made him a great artist probably killed him like so many artists from the past
Fun fact about juice: The first time he meant future he said to him when he seen him that u are the reason I tried lean I have been listening to juice since 2017 when lucid dreams came out it’s sad that when a REAL ARTIST die his music gets listen to more rip juice live long and forever
One time I heard from an interview or somethin that Juice WRLD thought he wasn’t good enough and wasn’t making people happy or proud, he said that was one of his biggest fears and I guess that can be one of his demons but I have no clue 🤷♂️
Juice was describing living with anxiety and taking drugs to deal with it. Anxiety does make you feel like you're gonna die if it's bad enough. People who have never lived with anxiety are extremely blessed cause it's hell.
fame hit juice hard and life can fast. he stressed over the pressure and anxiety but stayed true to himself and just wanted to have fun. drugs got involved to cope with life.
Basically on a live stream I watched of his girlfriend Ally she explained some demons juice had to deal with. She said every time they would be together if she left him alone at all he would just get so high to the point of almost losing consciousness. He needed her around him at all times to keep sane. When he was alone and in his head he couldn’t face his demons alone. But he was still sane enough to know it was killing him.
One thing he missed was the verse that goes like every time I ball I just end up offsides which as a massive sports fan just hit me because it’s a perfect analogy for what juice was going through, not being able to bounce back because no matter how long and how much he tried the battle was already lost. The animation for the song righteous also talks about how juice fought and conquered his demons except for the last one which was an incarnation of addiction.
It all started w his first gf, which in tail brought him frame from his songs, fame doesn’t always mean happiness. The fame just gave him the drugs but also showed him all the snakes he had along side him. But for the most part he was a young boy who had trouble looking for love but then found it. But he stuggled to give up the one who was always there for him when he didn’t have anyone...the drugs, so the drugs didn’t like that he was becoming happy again. Then they took him.
Juice had been put onto drugs as early as sixth grades and I think he was just always hooked despite wanting to stop and knowing it was killing him. Juice wrld actually said in a interview I watched that his mom never let him listen to rap so he would listen to it when his mom wasn’t around. When he started listening he heard how all these rappers like future were talking about lean, perks, weed, and much other things. He wanted to try it after hearing all of that and he ended up getting addicted to Xanax, lean, and weed all in high school. Then after he was out of high school he started with more and more drugs. It’s really sad what drugs can do to someone. He will be missed by many including me. Fly high juice 🕊❤️
The sad reality is that no one is ever going to really understand what Juice was going through because from the sounds of it he was more private about his own problems so he didn't drag others down with him. I don't know for sure of course, it's just my own speculation. Some of his songs though you can really hear the pain in his voice. It's sad that his life ended the way it did, he was heading in a great direction musically, but sometimes that's not enough when you are that cut down emotionally. RIP Juice
I personally never been addicted to pills or anything but I understand that he had a problem since high school but many people don’t understand how hard it clearly is to stop, I just wish he put more effort into stopping ☹️
Heartbreak, true love , and pills is what caused all of that . Then the lifestyle wasn’t helping probably but he took xans and was addicted then he stopped and blew up I think or blew up first but he then went to Percocets and shit . Although it was more or less the situation he was put in by people snitching on him that caused his death .
Feeling like your dying is just extreme anxiety horrible sense of dredd been sober over a year now. Juices music hits different for me. Feels like I lived it. Nothing but respect for him and what he spoke on
His battle with substance abuse became a significant struggle after a breakup with his ex girlfriend, Starfire. That’s what brought about the topic of his first studio album, “Goodbye and Good Riddance”. Juice talked frequently about his coping method while going through this heartbreak, which was abusing prescription drugs. He’s always had this issue, but going through heartbreak made his road to demise a lot shorter. 😔
Very few talk about how the opiate addiction caused all of the suffering for Juice WRLD. If you’ve ever been down that path you get it. A never ending hellacious cycle filled with depression, anxiety, and dependence.
