Nonit is not mandatory to book appointment in same city. Once you submit your vac appointment and hit submit then next page should be consular appointment

His part time job is not mentioned anywhere in the linkedin or other social platforms and he file itr in company name and not in his name, so is it fine to mention only his business in the present job column? Wether theyl find out he is having another job and it can lead to visa rejection?

I keep getting your transaction is pending error. I have not done any payment. Can I close and restart with new application? 2. 1. My suggestion is book for interview as a group. 2. OFC appointment is finger print and photo appointment and then another appointment for interview that will show up once you choose OFC appointment.

Have your wife as primary and kids dependent. You can mention that they will be traveling with you and answer other questions accordingly that you all will be traveling together.
Nice video but a very small thing to note. On the last page you did mask the DS-160 number and something else, but the barcode is still visible so it can be decoded back.

Now a days appointments are available so you may get appointments how you like. Once you go through your ofc appointment i would not suggest to change interview date.

Yes you need to add dependents under your profile. People under 14 does not necessarily need to attend interview but you can take kids of you want. But you should take all your kids documents with you.

You need to create profile and start application in order to find out if you are eligible or not. There will not be any sms or email sent for that. In my video i have shown what those questions are to determine the eligibility.

Please provide your last 3 pay slips and last 3 month of bank statement to h4 candidate while they go for interview. There is no requirement of bank balance for h4 dependents but as a suggestion for safer side keep about 5 to 10k in your account.

I also needed help from you when I am trying to fill application, I selected Visa type as Immigrant visa, in the next tab Embassy/OFC/, I selected MUMBAI IV, Post Visa Category as K1, class tag as well was K1. The next page is showing ds260 confirmation number, although k1 Visa doesn't require any ds260 and rather should ask for ds160 but it doesn't, is that a glitch on the portal or is it something that I did wrong? But it shows under immigrant visa, I am badly stuck here, really have no idea how to proceed further. I filled DS160 and have the confirmation number as well, they should have added an option that populates to add DS160 confirmation number instead of DS260. I have not found a work around on removing dependents. What I would suggest is move forward and see if it picks the right dependent before paying the fees. Don’t pay the fee if you are not sure and raise the case from the portal. I am getting information that they are slowly responding to requests. You can also try calling thwm.

i can see the appointments booked but it says a notification as "One or more receipts have expired. If you cancel this appointment, you will not be able to schedule a new appointment until your application is paid in full" but i paid the fee in August 2023 only so it should be valid till Aug 2024 but why it is telling this? how to resolve this? what to do to cancel the appointments so that i could close the application and start fresh application, please guide & help.

Its the same case as mine. Don’t worry about it they will not ask for payment confirmation at the appointment. I mentioned about that in this video also in payment section.

Congratulations on getting your H1B picked up. To answer your question- There is no point to add them in your application. Create a separate profile for your wife and add your daughter as dependent in her profile. That way they both can go to appointments together.

I think if you miss attending your appointment then it considered as ‘no show’ rather than cancelled. That could be the reason you are not able to reschedule

Thank you for the video. It was the most helpful one. Everywhere they were saying you have to wait for a day or two before booking an appointment. No one was telling to confirm and activate the receipt in there in a minute, and book the appointment.

You can create your profile and then add your husband as dependent. That will allow you to do the payment for both from your profile.

Have your wife as primary and kids dependent. You can mention that they will be traveling with you and answer other questions accordingly that you all will be traveling together.
For an H4 login petitioner number and details would be of the primary applicant i.e. the H1B holder or the I-539 petition details?
I don’t remember exactly but it will be yours and it will ask primary H1 detail further i guess.
Nice video but a very small thing to note. On the last page you did mask the DS-160 number and something else, but the barcode is still visible so it can be decoded back.

Q1. In DS160 should I mention past travel history to other countries within last 5 years as YES or NO - on the day of filling DS-160 it will be within 5 years and on the appointment date, it will be beyond 5 years.
Q2 - since I am a L1B visa holder from previous employer with no trips to US in the past, my B1/B2 visa application was eligible for interview waiver.
So for B1/B2 drop off, if previous visa was of different visa type will it create any problem in drop off application processing?

Yes you need to add dependents under your profile. People under 14 does not necessarily need to attend interview but you can take kids of you want. But you should take all your kids documents with you.

You need to create profile and start application in order to find out if you are eligible or not. There will not be any sms or email sent for that. In my video i have shown what those questions are to determine the eligibility.

Please provide your last 3 pay slips and last 3 month of bank statement to h4 candidate while they go for interview. There is no requirement of bank balance for h4 dependents but as a suggestion for safer side keep about 5 to 10k in your account.

Your videos are really helpful. I also needed help from you when I am trying to fill application, I selected Visa type as Immigrant visa, in the next tab Embassy/OFC/, I selected MUMBAI IV, Post Visa Category as K1, class tag as well was K1. The next page is showing ds260 confirmation number, although k1 Visa doesn't require any ds260 and rather should ask for ds160 but it doesn't, is that a glitch on the portal or is it something that I did wrong? Please suggest, please let me know if you need more info. Thank you.
Thank you for you comment. I think K1 is non immigrant visa and require DS160 to fill.
But it shows under immigrant visa, I am badly stuck here, really have no idea how to proceed further. I filled DS160 and have the confirmation number as well, they should have added an option that populates to add DS160 confirmation number instead of DS260. This is a blocker for me, I can't book an appointment date, please help me if you know what can be done here. Thanks!@@Umreeka
If we have already paid the visa fees, and by mistake clicked on Interview wavier option, and clicked update, due to which we are not able to proceed, what should we do? Can we start a new application without paying the fee again?
Yes you can. Make sure you have your receipt detail handy as you would have to enter that again.

I have not found a work around on removing dependents. What I would suggest is move forward and see if it picks the right dependent before paying the fees. Don’t pay the fee if you are not sure and raise the case from the portal. I am getting information that they are slowly responding to requests. You can also try calling thwm.

I am gonna face the VISA interview, but I do not have a credit card so made a payment by my brother's credit card. In applicant name and email section I have written my brothers name I mean card holders name, is this ok? or did make an error.

Yes she has to go for appointment this time. There is a emergency request option in portal. Please try that.

May be not but Once you got the drop box option did you try selecting interview there and see if they are eligible for expedited request.

In My profile in mid june for a my b1 b2 renewal Visa.I added my dependent mother's data then but her DS160 form filing was still pending to create.So after filing up her DS 160 form , now in July I get the number and i'm trying to continue the application for adding that mothers DS160 code in her dependent profile but 'its not allowing any entry text box for her DS 160 no. now " pls guide

i can see the appointments booked but it says a notification as "One or more receipts have expired. If you cancel this appointment, you will not be able to schedule a new appointment until your application is paid in full" but i paid the fee in August 2023 only so it should be valid till Aug 2024 but why it is telling this? how to resolve this? what to do to cancel the appointments so that i could close the application and start fresh application, please guide & help.
Why do you want to cancel appointment rather you can just reschedule the appointment.
@@Umreeka i cannot see the reschedule appointment option thats why, in my home page i can only see 4 options (schedule appointment, Manage applications, Feedback/Requests & Messages) only these are visible
Sir, I deleted existing dependent detail because I had to change the ds-160 number but adding as a new requiring new email id,should I proceed with new one or I did a mistake which can't be fixed ..? and unfortunately I did not track the uuid of dependent application, how can I find it again ..?
Call vfs to get the uid and add using uid.

You first choose appointment for ofc and then on next page you get the option for interview. Did you somehow skip first appointment

There is just the UPDATE button and no NEXT button after I enter my delivery address. So it's taking it in a loop and I can't move forward with the application. Tried creating new application but the issue persists. Any solution?

Its the same case as mine. Don’t worry about it they will not ask for payment confirmation at the appointment. I mentioned about that in this video also in payment section.

You can schedule 4 times. There is no restriction of waiting period between two reschedules.

I applied for C1/D category yesterday and booked appointment ofc on 8/8/2024 and consular on 30/8/2024.
Now rescheduled to ofc on 25/7/2024 and consular on 25/8/2024.

Basically I am a first time H1b applicant and have an active B1 visa which means i am eligible for a dropbox. My issue is do I need add them as dependents in my application ? as my dependents (wife and daughter) are not eligible for dropbox.

Congratulations on getting your H1B picked up. To answer your question- There is no point to add them in your application. Create a separate profile for your wife and add your daughter as dependent in her profile. That way they both can go to appointments together.

Hi .. Thanks for the video and which is very useful … I have DS-160 in new portal I scheduled appointment on 9 jan but I couldn’t attend that it’s got cancelled now I’m trying rescheduling the appointment and I can select the dates as well but when I’m trying to click submit button it’s not going to next page basically submit button is not working for me we contacted customer and raised the query as well but they are saying clear the cookies and catches and try to book slot again we trying multiple times still same issue submit button not working please help me what we can do
I think if you miss attending your appointment then it considered as ‘no show’ rather than cancelled. That could be the reason you are not able to reschedule

Just cancel your appointment and wait 24 hours, it lets you create a new application then!
