Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video! Really really enjoyed it! Love the night shot down at the Lochan, and the final Buachaille Etive Mor shot is spectacular! Actually, when I was young the Buachaille Etive Mor was the view out of my living room window (we lived at "the Kingy" (RIP)), our daily school run was the road down the Glen to Glencoe village. But I must admit I find it very difficult to bring myself to photograph this area, it's like I'm so used to it that it's just normal everyday scenery and I've probably taken it for granted for way too long now. So I'm trying to look at it all with fresh eyes, see this area as others see it and try to find a new appreciation for the scenery. And being able to watch your experience of photographing Glencoe is so so helpful in that respect, so thank you very very very much for that!! :) Now I'm very tempted to go and FINALLY!!! take my first ever photo of the Buachaille over the next few days. PS: good attempt at pronouncing "Buachaille Etive Mor". I've heard some crazy pronunciations before, so good job there! Just change the "Bua" to "Boo", and the "chaille" to "chal" - so "boo-chal", more-or-less (keeping the "ch" just the way you said it). Spelling in Gaelic makes no sense, I know...lol. :D
Wow! That's like the best comment ever Ross! :) I'm so happy I can influence a local so much! I can totally relate to the way of the beautiful nature around you being normal and uninspiring. I feel the same about most of Denmark... Wish I could change that. I used those "walkhighlands.co.uk" to find the right pronunciation, but very happy I now know how to really do it :)
Thank you, and no problem with the pronunciation help :D I was trying to think of a few other locations around here to suggest for you and others to check out. Perhaps one place that might (or might not) be worth scouting is called "Gleann Leac na Muidhe" (pronounced "Glen Lech na Moo-ee"). About 2 miles before Glencoe village (travelling from the direction of the Buachaille) there's a left hand turn up a track that takes you up there (possibly private, so might have to walk up). Then about a mile up the track there are 3 houses, but the track does carry on further than that. It's quite an isolated wee location, and the view looks back down the Glen toward Clachaig and the Aonach Eagach ridge. We used to live up there 20 years ago, and I have memories of walking back from the pub in Glencoe village or Ballachulish at 3am and being amazed at just how bright and clear the stars were once half way up the track and away from the lights of civilisation (other memories include falling/staggering into ditches and being scared silly trying to navigate past Highland cows in absolute darkness, haha!). Anyway, if you look on Google Maps for "Glencoe Mountain Cottages" you'll find the Glen location, and I think the closest parking would be on the main road just on the bend before the turn off or at "An Torr". Like I say, it might or might not be worth a look for any intrepid explorers out there, could be one of those places that looks great but doesn't lend itself so well to getting a nice photo. Think I'll add it to my list of places to check out though :)
Dear Mats, we were also in Scotland two weeks ago and also in Glencoe. I could so relate to your incredible enthusiasm for this landscape. My family and I felt the same way. It was just overwhelming and I don't know how many times I even said "Is this beautiful!" during the two weeks in Scotland. I had to smile so much every time you were so excited and fascinated. Next time we will definitely make the march up the mountain, the view from there is awesome. We also know the effect that a grandiose landscape does not necessarily mean a grandiose photo subject. We always call this "panorama problem". Thanks for the great video and the awesome photos you share with us. Many greetings from Germany.
I absolutely love seeing peoples reactions to Glencoe and those photos you got were amazing. Where you took those photos of The Buachaille is one of my favourite camping spots, its incredible with a morning cloud inversion.
Your amazing video portrays exactly the magic of the Scotland I so love. A Scot living in Switzerland for 50 years, I have always struggled to describe the difference in the the beauty of Swiss landscapes as opposed to Scottish ones. Your video gives the best example. Switzerland is like a stunningly beautiful fashion model, always photogenic and almost exasperatingly perfect. Scotland, especially Glencoe is untamed, uncompromising, moody and utterly unique. Her beauty can only be felt from under the skin and can only be appreciated from having weathered her storms. The bleak and ever changing skies, suddenly breaking into brilliant, ephemeral sunshine reward the brave traveller. Therein lies the beauty of the Scottish Highlands. You have captured it all so completely . Thank you. 🏴
I enjoyed your video on Glencoe very much. I recently visited Scotland for 2 weeks in August 2017. One week was dedicated to playing the best golf courses in the country and the other week was to travel the countryside with my daughter and see as much of the splendor as possible in that short span. My only disappointment with my trip was the day we went through Glencoe was the worst weather of the entire 2 weeks. Even so, the wonder of the area was apparent. Your video and enthusiasm, along with others that have attempt to translate the beauty of this special place through a camera, has convinced me that I will need multiple trips back to Scotland. My next trip will be more dedicated to photography thanks to the continued stimulus in videos such as this one. The people of Scotland are the best in the world. We could not rate anyone we met below a 9 on a scale to 10. There are so many places here in America to see, but Scotland is the Gem of the UK for being the complete package. I look forward to seeing you break the 1 million subscriber mark someday soon!!
Haha thank you Steve! 1mio is far, far into the future for sure! Unless I start getting all my videos featured on the big blogs, but they're just too lazy to sum up all the information in my videos - I guess it's not sexy enough ;) I hope you'll make it back to Scotland and witness Glen Coe in all its splendor!
If anyone is feeling jaded with their photography or the winter weather, they need to be prescribed this 20 minute fix of inspiration. I suspect that is a day you will remember for the rest of your life Mads. All of the images you showed are worthy of epic, stunning and other worn out superlatives. Brilliantly thought through shots and generous advice, as always. These locations will be superb with a covering of snow, if you are comfortable navigating... Haste Ye Back!
It's rare that I can't find the words to describe the quality of something like this. The photo's, the filming, the passion you have!! WOW is all I can think of and even that does not do it justice. You made a Yorkshire man speechless and that really takes some doing.
I am not a photography enthusiast ,but truly admire everything of beauty.and may i say Peter ,you captured some truly stunning natural photo's of the beauty Scotland has to offer.loved all the photo's,but yes the milky way reflection scene, and those mountain shots, where truly breathtaking.especially the one you had your girlfriend, adding the scale to the shot.and being a Scot myself, makes you realize, what is truly sitting on our own doorstep, that we take for granted, and never bother to visit or see.thank you and your gf,for providing us RUclips viewer's,with such stunning and beautiful video's.
I am currently watching older videos from this channel and boy, this is really worth it. As a fan of Scotland I am now even more excited to travel there again.
Hi Mads, I have never watched a Vblog where the word "unbelievable", "so beautiful" and "amazing" have repeatably been said. It truely shows your passion and I feel happy for you that you had simply the best conditions a landscape photographer can have in this moment, at this stunning (another word....) place! Thank you so much for sharing these moments with all of us!!! For me, watching your Vblog is like I am stading next to you and the way how you combinate frames and drone videos including the music you chose, makes you vblogs simply perfect! I must admit, and for all who do read my comment - I am not promoting Mads because he is a close friend or we do have a comercially connection - that you are currently the KING OF LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY at youtue. DON'T STOP what you are doing and I am really look forward watching your next Vblog about the Isle of Skye!
Haha thank you Stephan! That says a lot considered there as so many other really good vloggers out there :) But I really appreciate every word! Thanks a lot :)
absolutely the best vlogger on YT. every time you show emotion and passion in your videos you can see how much it means to you. im going to Glencoe on boxing day for some photography :) might even do a little vlog my self. that view point is the same one im after but with snow!
Thank you SO much Danny! That means a lot - there as some really great Landscape Vloggers out there :) I'll have to return to here when it's winter too! :)
Mads, this video has evoked more emotion from me than I think any other that you've produced. That is in part because you yourself were so moved by the beauty of the scene. I had this tearful grin for most of the video and I understand your thrill at such high level views. It evokes tears of joy! I am a paraglider pilot and for a lot of the video I was looking at the cloud movements and flying opportunities but I could never get such incredible photo results from the air. This one was transcendant for me. Thank you SO MUCH!!
Wow, what a remarkable video. I have just watched this in Feb 2019, in a hotel room in Glencoe with my girlfriend. Very inspirational, thanks for making and sharing this Mads. You deserve more than 25k subscribers. Thanks!
Mads, your photography and instruction are without equal!! I have not seen this quality of work anywherelse in the industry!!! Thank you for sharing!!! KIM.
Mads! What an awesome video! I am a native Scot, Dundee 1949. Came to the US in '55. I went back in 2002 and Glen Coe was one of my favorite places. Your videos are very well done! I enjoy them. Thank you!
I did a tour of Scotland last year, I know how you feel I felt exactly the same, the views were stunning. I liked your photo of the waterfalls, unfortunately I’m not a fan of long exposures of water.
Another brilliant video Mads. The Scottish Highlands are indeed as awesome (a much overused word these days but appropriate here) as you showed. Stunning images from the heights of the mountain I'm sure you have more in your hard drive. I am so looking forward to your Skye Episode, that truly is a magical location (no offense to Glencoe).
Thanks a lot! Skye is great, but Glen Coe was without a shadow of a doubt the best photographic experience I had in Great Britain! But it was all due to the weather and light. I could just as well have had this kinda weather on Skye :)
I hope you have a book deal planned, Mads, as these episodes complete with you guide to shooting would be an ideal landscape photographer’s reference Say yes, please!
Fantastic! Im going on the 5hr trip Thursday night to get here Good Friday sunrise and thought I’d watch it again to get the juices pumping! Can’t wait now thank you!
That photo taken near Glencoe , with the Milky Way reflected in the lake is insanely stunning. So much so that it's now my home screen. Sir, that's the most remarkable photo (that's not been over processed) I've seen yet. Top draw.
one thing is certain...your patience is such a huge reward in capturing images of this magnitude...the weather can be incredibly challenging so knowing when to push that shutter button at the perfect moment can be daunting...the Milky Way reflected in the waters below.....I N C R E D I B L E !!!!! Im obviously BINGE watching you channel while I'm enjoying a bit of down time...thank you again...Im certain I will revisit many as time goes on..
It's always about the light...and you had some fantastic light Mads. I have to agree with you the image of Sophie in the light ray is very nice, but the last image where the sun is illuminating the back side of the mountain and lighting the valleys on either side is truly beautiful, well done. It's great to see someone thats get really excited about the light.
That's it, I quit! That was unbelievable. You can't just start with a milky way shot setting the bar so high and then manage to keep that bar high throughout. I don't know whether that made me want to quit my job and hike up a mountain or sell my camera and take up bowls of something. Your name will soon rest on the book shelves of many a photographer
One of the best landscape photography vlogs I've seen. Certainly as a series, but this one in particular tugged at the heart strings the most. I am originally from the Highlands of Scotland (live in Wales now), but my only regret is I didn't take up photography seriously before moving to Wales, because it's difficult for me to get back up there now. All fantastic images, Mads, but the last one with the mountain backlit was off the charts. Amazing! Your passion tells the story so well in your vlogs, and this is helped by amazing videography. It could easily be a commissioned TV series. Thanks Mads. I'm a relatively recent subscriber after watching your joint workshop with Nick Page in the Faroe Islands, so I'm playing catch up with your videos (yes, I'm addicted to them).
“Art by god” is a quote I read a few weeks ago and, having watched and thoroughly enjoyed your latest journal, I felt that this quote could have been written about Glen Coe! Fantastic work again Mads. I have no doubt that your journals will still be viewed years from now, they are that good.👌 You took some quite delightful images, my favourite was the last you took of Buachaille Etive Mor was my favourite but it was a close run thing! I love Glen Coe and could spend weeks there so many thanks for posting this video. Take care mate and stay safe.🍀👌
Loved it. Well done Mads. I loved the way you got really giddy and excited. Just the way I feel when I'm out and about with my camera and the environment plays ball. Once again . . . can't wait for the Skye video. Keep up the good work - Chris
Incredible, glorious, stunning, beautiful! Don't forget "magical"! ;) The English language definitely falls short at expressing how these places can make us feel. So glad to see you were rewarded with some amazing light after staying out all night to shoot the Milky Way and then making the hike up that mountain! That shot with Sophie lit by the sunbeams in the mid ground is 👌❤️🎉. My favorite photo of yours along with the one you took in the Faroe Islands with her standing in the foreground in front of the fjords. I definitely favor the shots where a human element is introduced - they help me imagine how it would feel to be there, and remind us how small we are. I've said it before: you're very lucky to have a model willing to hike up those mountains with you! My wife is afraid of heights but might be able to be convinced to try this kind of shot when we go to Scotland. I did get her to go to a precarious rocky outcrop over a glacier in Iceland... so there's a chance! ;) Keep up the great work, glad to hear the subscribers are starting to pick up!
Thank you for your wonderful videos... I feel like I am right there with you the way you describe the scene, what to look for and how to get there.... your enthusiasm is second to none. Not sure how many videos you have made, but I am slowly working my way through them!
My favourite of your vlogs so far. Great location, great pics thanks for sharing. I pleased you got rewarded with good light, although I’ve yet to see you fail to take a good picture in any conditions. What’s makes the vlog so enjoyable is your excitement and enthusiasm. Really looking forward to your visit to The Isle of Skye.
"Rewatching this video gives me the chills." Such great enthusiasm and inspiration for us all Mads. Always taking it to the next level. Amazing video and beautiful images!
Spectacular video with superb images, you certainly found great light. The thing about luck is, the harder you work the luckier you get but when talent and luck combine, that's when the magic happens. I'm very fortunate to live just a couple hours drive from Glencoe and visit there regularly but not so much in the summer when it is so busy with tour buses. I was at the falls just last week and unfortunately the whole area around them is like a marsh from all the hiking boots. If you thinking of coming back I cannot recommend highly enough to plan your visit in the winter, it's a cold harsh place to be be at that time of year but the reward for being there makes up for the effort and there are no flying teeth when it's so cold. Glen Etive is great for Red stags and deer in the autumn to early winter and the numerous water falls and rapids along the River Etive make for numerous compositions as well as epic views and reflections of Ben Strava at head of Loch Etive at the end of the road. Just bring plenty of waterproofs, thermal layers and a flask of soup.
This is, without doubt, the best RUclips video that I have watched this year. Great presentation and it's clear that you genuinely love what you do, and those images are amazing... You are right about your favourite too; it's absolutely breathtaking!
Oh Mads, your enthusiasm is so infectious :) Another great video buddy. The images are STUNNING. The light, the composition, the god beams, Sophie in shot giving scale to the composition. I am SO GLAD that Tom Heaton recommended your channel a few months ago. Otherwise I'd have missed out on your love of landscape and imagery. Keep up the good work mister :)
Hi Mads, I'm going to Scotland in one week, watched every video you've made about it and I can say that I'm super super excited. Thanks a lot for sharing to us your knowledge and your passion!
I've been to this place last year and drove for 1,000 miles, but it showered almost everyday. The good part? I'll have to go back there and then I'll do that hike up that mountain too. As always, your videos, your work inpire me everytime. Thank you so much for the journey! All the best!
The passion you show for photography really shines in these vlogs ! As you would say “absolutely incredible” keep up the good work and keep on inspiring
Great video again, Mads. Spectacular images of a spectacular location. Scotland is just an incredible place to visit, culturally and visually. I like your take on landscape photography, Thomas Heaton should have mentioned you in his recent video about other RUclipsrs, you deserve a much higher subscription number as your content is just stunning. Thomas are you listening? Perhaps you could use your own amazing channel to give Mads the recognition he deserves! Just saying...!
Haha thank you Mark! I've actually got a two of my recent videos on his suggested video of the week, which I'm very grateful for - it gave a nice boost and brought in some new subscribers :)
What an incredible adventure! I don't even know what to say about those images. Just absolutely breathtaking. You inspire me to do more, to be better at this passion of mine. I'm very new to it but you and others like you made me fall in love with landscape photography and that's something I can never thank you enough for. Videos like this just fuel the fire!
Absolutely amazing Mads! The views are simply stunning and I am certain it doesn't compare to being there in person. How long is the drive from the Lake District to Glencoe?
Philip Culbertson thank you very much and no. Being there yourself is absolutely top notch! Driving time depends on weather and traffic, I guess Google is your best friend :)
Thank you Mads Peter, for publishing your video's of Scotland. I came across them researching the NC500, for a trip in October. The Glen Coe, was the one which stood out for me with the light, photo at 18.48 to me is just superb. I can see why you liked the sun rays though the valleys but that photo.... Your video footage of the landscape is just as important, the drone is able to pick out the landscape detail which we miss with our eyes, (which you see later) when standing in one spot. as you rightly said no drone by railway lines (Glenfinnan). Milky Way on the Loch. Almost won it but a close second.
JUST MAGICAL,,,,, i love the place,,,.... i suggest you venture up Glen Etive to the car park at the end of the road, morning magic, evening soft and lovely....
Speechless! I know the area very well and have climbed most of the peaks in Glencoe. Your images capture the soul and spirit of this special place. The image with the human figure on the plateau below the lens was incredible. It shows the scale of the glen, something I have never captured will trekking on the hills. Utterly fabulous.
WOW !!! I share your enthusiasm of the epic place "mountain Beinn a'Chrulaiste" and the magic you have captured. Great video and very inspirational Mads !!!!
Great, great video Mads, and I love your passion and enthusiasm. Remember climbing the Shepherd of Etive when I was 16 or 17. Scotland is a truly wonderful place...
Your image of the starry sky above Glen Lochan just blew my mind. That is an amazing piece of photography, I'm not surprised at all that it is one of your favourites. Glad I've subscribed now!!
Wonderful! So happy that you enjoyed our fantastic Glencoe and cant wait to see your Skye video! As a Scottish landscape photographer myself, there is no better places than Glencoe and Skye to visit and shoot. I would also suggest you check out Rannoch Moor. Yet another stunning place to visit in Scotland :)
Just stunning! Awesome images and a great video! I dont understand, why you dont have more subscribers, you definitely deserve more attention!!! Keep up the good work.
Hi Mads, I only found your channel a few weeks ago, now I'm going through your back catalogue. Inspiring is the only word. Your infectious enthusiasm and narrative make you one of the best landscape photographers and you tubers out there at the moment. Keep the content flowing. Regards Russ
OMG...Simply beautiful, thanks to you and Sophie for sharing, awesome images and matching music to go with the videos will be watching this episode many times :)
Well Mads, your photography skills are outstanding. Clencoe and the Isle of Skye are among my favourite places in this world. Thanks for the beautiful pictues. And keep up with the great work. Best, Hartmut
Once again my mind has been blown, i'm heading to Glencoe in Sept and i'm so excited to try and do this iconic part of the world justice through my camera
Outstanding film and you captured the essence of Glencoe perfectly. As you said you were very lucky with the light and it worked out perfect with some stunning shots. Have been to Glencoe so many times and it can prove to be a very difficult beast to photograph well. But you nailed it with your shots in this film and look forward to your Skye trip.
Great video Mads, just love your enthusiasm in it. I would say "Always save the best for last" is at it's place this week, those last shots are just epic ! When watching it's just like I'm standing there too. Your videos are just so much better and inspiring than most you find youtube these days. Can't wait to see what the next video brings, but in the mean time, I'll just watch this one again. Thank you, really thanks a lot for delivering every week !
Could be an epic trek up there in a snowy winter. What great Images you captured looking forward to travelling up there myself next Year. Nice clear commentary by the way.
I'm not a photographer but I love and appreciate nature. I'm going to Scotland soon, and your video makes me more excited. I have to say your enthusiasm in capturing the magical shots along with the background music brought me to tears :)
Just stunning!! That image with the Milky Way and the lake was so incredible and so inspiring that I had tears in my eyes. And your presentation is first class. Thanks for sharing this.
What a Fantastic video Mads, with equally fantastic images. Glencoe is a magical awe inspiring place. I will come back to this video over and over. Thanks. 😊
Sat and watched the UK videos back to back. Really enjoyed doing so and you enthusiasm is so infectious. I've subscribed so as to never miss any of your posts - superb!
Wow Mads, just wow! I'm not sure I can say you've outdone yourself with this one, but this is one of my favourite blogs. And those images!! Just incredible! I live in the midlands of England, and travel to Scotland all too little. But I really need to make an effort to get there, especially Glencoe. I love the area, the history and mythology around it. But those views!! I must go! I spend most of my available in time Snowdonia because it's easier for me to get to. But I think I need to schedule a weekend in Glencoe. I do understand what you're saying regarding areas being stunning, but not so photogenic. It's a real shame when that happens. A brilliant vlog Mads, fantastic scenes and some incredible images! Please, keep up the hard work and bringing these vlogs and images for us to aspire to! Thank you.
Thank you so, so much Gareth! Aaah Snowdonia is also such an amazing location - as you know I really enjoyed Snowdonia! I wish I had Snowdonia in my backyard - I'd be out there all the time :D
That's certainly my aim Mads. I try to get to different parts of Snowdonia every weekend in between my work weeks. If you get a spare 5 minutes take a look at my instagram @garethkelley.photo it's just full of Snowdonia pictures, with a few Peak District and Shropshire images thrown in there too. My photography is a shadow to your brilliance, but I'm learning more every day, and really enjoying it. Watching your vlogs really inspires me to get out there and improve. Thanks Mads.
Just came across your Channel, Mads. Superb video of Glen Coe and the 'Big Boochle' (Buachaille Etive Mor).Your enthusiasm is infectious. I've climbed Beinn a'Chrulaiste about 20 times on photography trips and camped on it a few times. It's one of the best viewpoints in Scotland. I even took my daughter up in mid-winter in knee deep snow and captured a temperature inversion as the morning mists flowed round the mountain making it stand our like an island. Regards - John
Thank you very much, John! Means a lot coming from a local! I absolutely loved it as you can see in the video. Just checked your photos - incredible! Especially with the inversion!
I've praised these videos of yours before - but this one is really special. The images are among the very best I've seen from you, or from anyone. Sublime. Nearby Rannoch Moor is a favourite of mine, the place I started landscape photography 2 years ago - less obviously spectacular, but subtly beautiful. Well done, Mads!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video! Really really enjoyed it! Love the night shot down at the Lochan, and the final Buachaille Etive Mor shot is spectacular!

Omg wow miss Scotland not been since 2017 love you Scotland missing you bad xxx
I am currently watching older videos from this channel and boy, this is really worth it. As a fan of Scotland I am now even more excited to travel there again.
Thank you, Stefan! 🙏 I occasionally actually watch my old videos too. Good memories ☺️
Over the top. Pure essence of what landscape photography is. Just wow.
Thank you so much Aritz! :)
Mads, just love your enthusiasm. It draws me to your videos....
That says a lot considered there as so many other really good vloggers out there :)
But I really appreciate every word!
That means a lot - there as some really great Landscape Vloggers out there :)
I'll have to return to here when it's winter too! :)
when you do let me know i'll come meet you :)
I've seen this video several times and I cant explain how it manages to give me the chills every time. It's epic. And I need to go to Glencoe.
Oh Tom thank you so much! Very happy you enjoyed the video that much! Must be amazing to paraglide! I haven't tried that yet...
Wow, what a remarkable video. I have just watched this in Feb 2019, in a hotel room in Glencoe with my girlfriend. Very inspirational, thanks for making and sharing this Mads. You deserve more than 25k subscribers. Thanks!
Thank you very much, Mike! :)
Mads, your photography and instruction are without equal!! I have not seen this quality of work anywherelse in the industry!!! Thank you for sharing!!! KIM.
This is W O N D E R F U L !!!!! One of the best landscape photography videos I've seen on RUclips. Thank you...
Thank you so much! Very happy to hear that! Means a lot :)
That timelapse! Unbelievable... really nailed this one!!! Love it! 👍👍👍
Thank you Nigel! I hope you get a bit of traffic from the suggested :)
Mads Peter Iversen appreciate that.
Mads! What an awesome video! I am a native Scot, Dundee 1949. Came to the US in '55. I went back in 2002 and Glen Coe was one of my favorite places. Your videos are very well done! I enjoy them. Thank you!
My favourite place in Scotland climbed the mountains in the area in winter and summer will be heading up soon.
It's so epic! :)
Wow! That last photo is simply amazing Mads! So much drama and the light is beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! Also my favorite shot :)
As someone who is planning to visit the Highlands in about a week, these videos are invaluable for me. Thank you so very much!
I smiled smiled and smiled with you Mads. That was inspirational on so many levels. Well done - what a time. Mark
I did a tour of Scotland last year, I know how you feel I felt exactly the same, the views were stunning. I liked your photo of the waterfalls, unfortunately I’m not a fan of long exposures of water.
The definition of EPIC.
Thank you Jonathan - that's what I aimed for ;)
Another brilliant video Mads.
I could just as well have had this kinda weather on Skye :)
absolutely fantastic Mads - the essence of landscape photography and we all love it
Thank you so much David! :)
My favourite day on our tour of Scotland was the day in Glencoe. What outstanding landscape that you have captured so terrifically.
Thank you very much Alistair! YEs Glen Coe is magical!
I hope you have a book deal planned, Mads, as these episodes complete with you guide to shooting would be an ideal landscape photographer’s reference Say yes, please!
No book deal :( I don't know how to do...
Fantastic! Im going on the 5hr trip Thursday night to get here Good Friday sunrise and thought I’d watch it again to get the juices pumping! Can’t wait now thank you!
Haha fantastic! I hope you get your sunrise!
Thank you very much, Isabella! Very happy you enjoy the channel and thanks for the comments :)
Hehe thank you Darren! Yeah got a bit excited there :)
HAHAHA thanks a lot John! Do the former - take up the challange ;)
I have no doubt that your journals will still be viewed years from now, they are that good.👌
You took some quite delightful images, my favourite was the last you took of Buachaille Etive Mor was my favourite but it was a close run thing!
I love Glen Coe and could spend weeks there so many thanks for posting this video.
Take care mate and stay safe.🍀👌
Thank you so much Andy! I hope they will and I really aim for them to be worth watching and rewatching :)
Loved it. Well done Mads. I loved the way you got really giddy and excited. Just the way I feel when I'm out and about with my camera and the environment plays ball. Once again . . . can't wait for the Skye video. Keep up the good work - Chris
Thanks a lot Chris! Very happy I'm not the only one fooling around like this :)
Sometimes one just have to look and be very, very quiet. Amazing again!
Thanks a lot, much appreciated Rudy!! :)
Thanks a lot John! Yes I'm very lucky indeed! It doesn't feel like too much of a height when you're up there... more like a big hill ;)
Thank you for your wonderful videos... I feel like I am right there with you the way you describe the scene, what to look for and how to get there.... your enthusiasm is second to none. Not sure how many videos you have made, but I am slowly working my way through them!
The last image is awesome. Just awesome
Thank you so much Jois! :)
I agree with you, the images are amazing. The Hank you Mother Nature.
Thank you Gary! Yeah I try to get the most out of the situations and want to be able to get away with a great picture no matter the weather :)
"Rewatching this video gives me the chills." Such great enthusiasm and inspiration for us all Mads. Always taking it to the next level. Amazing video and beautiful images!
Thank you very much Garry! :)
A refreshing change to see someone sticking to the subject. Very good. Thanks.
Thanks a lot Richard :) Happy it all made sense!
Thanks a lot for all that information Joe! Will try to come back here during winter! It does indeed look spectacular :)
The Milky Way reflection was stunning as well as your final shot of Buachailee Etive. All of Glen Etive is fabulous too if you get the chance to go.
This is, without doubt, the best RUclips video that I have watched this year. Great presentation and it's clear that you genuinely love what you do, and those images are amazing... You are right about your favourite too; it's absolutely breathtaking!
Thank you so much! Means a lot and very happy my enthusiasm shines through :)
Wow, wow & triple wow! Absolutely stunningly glorious images Mads!
Thank you so much Jamie!
One of the best videos i've ever seen on RUclips
Thank you SO much, Davy :)
Absolutely fantastic images! That light was sublime!
Thank and yes! :)
Oh Mads, your enthusiasm is so infectious :)
Another great video buddy.
I'm very happy that he gave a suggested video of mine! And I'm really happy you enjoy the videos and my enthusiasm :)
Absolutely breathtaking.. love your time lapses ..an fabulous use of music
..had years in my eyes.. ❤️🙏🏽 what an inspiration 🙌🏽
Nature has these surprises and when all the stars line up you get what some wait a lifetime for. well done and thank you for sharing.
Yes exactly and thanks a lot :)
Thank you so much Matt! I will :)
I watched this with my daughter. We just keep saying “wow”. You’re a great inspiration Mads, thank you. 😊🙏🏼😊
Thank you so much Jon! How old is she?
What an incredible adventure! I don't even know what to say about those images. Just absolutely breathtaking. You inspire me to do more, to be better at this passion of mine. I'm very new to it but you and others like you made me fall in love with landscape photography and that's something I can never thank you enough for. Videos like this just fuel the fire!
Thank you very much Justin! :) I'm very happy to inspire and very happy you liked both the video and the photos!
Absolutely stunning ....
Thank you Ishak! :)
Thanks a lot Jamie and thank you for that location tip :)
Speechless!
I know the area very well and have climbed most of the peaks in Glencoe. Your images capture the soul and spirit of this special place. The image with the human figure on the plateau below the lens was incredible. It shows the scale of the glen, something I have never captured will trekking on the hills. Utterly fabulous.
Very thoughful and intense video! At 17.44 and 18.50 is the best moment of your shot! Amazing shots!!
WOW !!! I share your enthusiasm of the epic place "mountain Beinn a'Chrulaiste" and the magic you have captured. Great video and very inspirational Mads !!!!
Thank you Mario! Have you been there? :)
No Mads but your video triggered my enthusiasm so extreme that i checked my schedule for going to visit this location. :)
Thank you for those amazing videos about Britain!
You're most welcome, Francois! :)
Francois Nitenberg SCOTLAND
What an incredible video Mads. Your passion and enormous talent are truly inspiring.
I have watched this 3 times and never tire of seeing it. Hopefully off to Glencoe next week. Am so inspired
Thanks you, Philip! That's like an hour of your life ;) I regularly return to this video too. I really enjoy these videos too :)
Thanks a lot David! Very happy a local liked the video. Rannoch Moor is indeed a place I'd like to check out too!
Just stunning! Awesome images and a great video! I dont understand, why you dont have more subscribers, you definitely deserve more attention!!! Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much! I guess it's because I don't make many generic TOP 5 videos that capture peoples attention ;)
Mate another great video. The last image, the one of Sophie and the milky way shot are amazing. Scotland is such a special place. Thanks for aharing.
Thanks a lot Christopher! I love those photos too! :)
Hi Mads, I only found your channel a few weeks ago, now I'm going through your back catalogue. Inspiring is the only word. Your infectious enthusiasm and narrative make you one of the best landscape photographers and you tubers out there at the moment. Keep the content flowing. Regards Russ
Thank you so much for such kind words, Doris! 🙏
OMG...Simply beautiful, thanks to you and Sophie for sharing, awesome images and matching music to go with the videos will be watching this episode many times :)
You're very welcome William! Very happy you liked it :)
Thank you so much! Yeah, I think I was lucky with this one - but I guess statistically it was about time! :P
Praise indeed from Renegade Scot who makes a mean video himself.
This is my favourite of all your videos so far Mads, stunning shots and your enthusiasm is infectious, can't wait to get up to Glencoe in the new year
Thanks a lot! And good luck! :)
Haha thank you Frederic! I'm so happy you think it's worth watching again and I'm so happy you see how it "grows" and ends with a climax :)
Could be an epic trek up there in a snowy winter. What great Images you captured looking forward to travelling up there myself next Year. Nice clear commentary by the way.
Thank a lot John! Happy I'm clear. I'll have to return during winter too! That's for sure :)
I'm not a photographer but I love and appreciate nature. I'm going to Scotland soon, and your video makes me more excited. I have to say your enthusiasm in capturing the magical shots along with the background music brought me to tears :)
Wow! Another terrific edition from your Britain series, cant wait to see the Skye vid.
Thank you Joe! Skye very soon! ;)
Thanks. 😊
Thanks a lot Mark! I'm so happy you think it's worth rewatching :)
Incredible, I was so excited to watch this episode and it did not disappoint!
I'm very happy to hear that! :)
Wow. The 1sr picture at the end is awesome. The light was fantastic and you captured It so well. Keep up the good work Mads
Thank you Manuel! Yes it looked so beautiful!
Sat and watched the UK videos back to back. Really enjoyed doing so and you enthusiasm is so infectious. I've subscribed so as to never miss any of your posts - superb!
Another magic segment. The last sequence was jaw dropping. Well done to you both.
Thank you so much Tom! :)
Breathtaking. I am taking so many notes. Thank you for new perspectives
Hehe thanks a lot! Happy to hear that :) And thanks for the location tip :)
absolutely stunning Mads loved every second of your video cannot wait for ISLE OF SKYE
Thank you very much! :) Very happy you enjoyed it!
Wow, simply superb. I love how you show your appreciation of Glencoe throughout this video.
