She's not as well known as she should be because she, from the get go,stood by her principals. She's a devout Christian too. Listen to the lyrics of her track Unbreakable Smile. Also...would love to see you analyse her video of waving through a window! X
her album "inspired by true events" is a masterpiece in melody, vocals and songwriting! Definitely a must react to
tori is so underrated. her tone, her musicality, her agility - a VOCALIST!!! the girls only wished they had half of her immense talent.
I remember a couple years back I heard her song Language I was on the floor cause those vocals were no lie.
Imo, Tori Kelly holds the title of having the best cover of Rainbow Connection. She sang it live a few years back for Disney, you should react to it. Not a flaw to be heard in her voice in that performance.

I think she's not where she should be success wise because of her music style. Tori is one of my favorite singers ever but I must admit, the music she makes is not the best she can do. She holds back for some reason. Maybe I'm just into pop and songs like "should've been us" but she just tends to make slow and kinda boring music. I hope her next album will be different.

Today's music has many problems even with the advance of modern technology one of those problems is the lack of great songwriters writing great songs for great singers. Where are today's Gershwin, Cole Porter, Burt Bacharach, David Foster, Jim Steinman, Richard Rodgers, Jerome Kern, Stephen Sondheim, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Henry Mancini, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, Andrew Llloyd Webber, Michael Masser, Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, Michel Legrand, Lamont Dozier and many more. A singer is nothing without a song and worse a great singer is nothing without great songs.

She has had major success. She has a couple Grammy’s, I think you’re strictly speaking from a popularity perspective. Her music is different and not necessarily mainstream and I think she prefers it that way but she’s been very successful in her own right
