HypeCon is one of our favorite local shows in the SF Bay Area because of the Community that comes out to the event. The crowd is literally hyped up, the music is on point, and the vibes are just perfect for a show. This specific show was TCG Edition unlike the normal show which has sneakers and sports, so the card Community was definitely out in full effect!

Cool video. 😎 i seen you guys at the santa clara card show. Gave me a cool history lesson on those green red pokemon pocket monster cards. It would be cool to see you show case ur cards in the beginning and see some products, and me personally love the history and why some cards are more valuable then others. New to the hobby but like most. Used to collect as kid. That in mind love what you guys do for the kids. I can say your prices are very fair n competitive. From your videos, it seems like you buy more than sell. When/where does the profit actually come in?
In contrary to most vendors at a show, we setup at shows primarily to buy, not to actually sell. As an online ebay store, we have a much wider field to sell to as we ship worldwide. Sells or trades we do at a show are simply a byproduct of us buying at a show.
@@IntropyDR interesting. I would have thought selling at the shows would be optimal in order to avoid eBay and shipping fees.
Selling at a shows isn't a scalable business. Having an online store that has worldwide shoppers is definitely scalable. Fees, shipping costs, and taxes - these are all just the costs associated with being a business. The sooner people realize that and tackle it head on, the sooner they will be able to learn and grow.
Pick up more modern PSA 10 slabs … they sell like hot cakes
We'd love to pickup more PSA 10 slabs, but we can only pick them up if people are willing to sell them!
