Oh yeah. I think the same every time he shows up on a text story. I don't see how any woman could get romantic for a voice like that let alone spend a lifetime listening to it.
Well, he's better than the one who sounds like Michael Jackson on sedatives. But I agree, they put up this handsome photo image, and then the voice comes on and I immediately picture some cartoon guy.
he's been showing his true colours at work and doesn't realize that everyone hates him. oh wow, he's been gossiping about everyone at work and is surprized that the people have told each other what he is saying. This guys ego has it's own gravitational field
The bigger the ego the bigger the fall,,,,, an just remember the bulk of the people you relied on in life,, haven't gone to "college,," maybe trade school or what ever, but you still expect them to unblocked your toilets, fix your cars build your home,, just because you've gone to college and are very clever in your field, does not mean your good at your actual job
Depends on where you live. We don’t have colleges where I live (but universities of course) but to work in a bank you will have to take the equivalent of a college degree.
It used to be. Bankers used to be in charge of approving loans and stuff. Currently they are, at best, customer service representatives, with slightly more credentials than the bank teller. Maybe investment banker's still hold some more power but they have been getting tossed around by trading algorithms for some years now
Cousin is a banker. Head of Credit for a bank that makes billions per quarter in profit. He was senior management just below board level when he retired.
Well , it can be if you're an Executive Director or a Senior Vice President . My brother was both a Senior Vice President and an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley . And my sister was a Senior Vice President at Prudential Securities . But you're right , a bank teller or a simple unranked bank officer is not an elite type of position at a bank .
All of that is Jack’s fault for not listening and believing what his fiancé was telling him. He was too busy smelling his own a** that he didn’t notice anything else until it was too late.
You may have walk off the stage with a piece of paper in your hand , but that piece of paper does not mean that you are a winner. Just like a high school dropout does not mean that you are a loser.
Great Dudley Do Wrong is back. Why does he sound like a really bad cartoon character from the 60’s? I can’t take him seriously. Don’t get me wrong I really like your videos and channel. The voice actor for Jack always sounds like a cartoon character, whether he’s a good guy or a jerk. Don’t ever change. 😂😂😂
Typically the writers of the Text Universe aren't bothered by pesky little things like keeping names and details straight. They play it much more fast and loose around here.
Every time I see attitudes like this all I can think of is the article I saw where a whole neighborhood had a block party for the 100 year old great-great-grandmother who finally graduated high school.
I don't understand why people consider certain jobs as elite. I am aware some jobs like lawyers, doctors, and high corporate positions like CEO are important, they do get a high end paycheck, and often have outstanding reputations. But are they really considered important enough to be the best of the best?
It may pay well. Worked with a guy that became the CIO of a Fortune 100 company. Went to night school and no elite education. His brother, who I also worked with, came to work in jeans. Bro said "I wouldn't take his job for twice what he is getting". I would assume twice being 400 grand a year if not more. Guy was the CEO's guy. When the CEO retired, the guy was turned into a "Consultant". Ran his name through Federal Election campaign contributions. He was in lock step with the CEO and BoD and their contributions. When dropped as CIO, donations stopped. Essentially he had to pay tribute every year to his "Betters" political aims.
These are the high profile people, but many people forget how important the guy at the bottom is, too. In fact, our society needs EVERYONE. We ALL play our part one way or another.
A valedictorian is a member of the class who addresses the other graduates with a motivational, uplifting speech. This isn't all that common in the UK, although you may have guest speakers or people receiving honorary degrees throughout the ceremony, And it definitely doesn't happen at Oxford or Cambridge, 20 seconds of research and the writers would have known this.
Sorry but bankers are not special. Doctor, lawyers or scientists are special. Who gives a frick about which college. Many high-schooler do great without college
I'm retired from IT in the banking biz. Worked with 3 people that became bank presidents of small banks. Maybe 6 that became VPs of various banks. It's a managing job and nothing more.
How does anyone get a far as getting engaged and not know their partner’s educational background? These stories got to show how they don’t take marriage seriously where the stories are made. They treat getting married like going on a Tinder date.
First off, you're trying to tell me there weren't other signs of this behavior. Second, college ain't all that! Third, "believe what you say to me..." And you WANT me to believe everything you say, how and why? Need to keep up with your conversations, how and why?
Unfortunately, there are persons who think so highly of themselves that they see everyone else as a loser. I feel sorry for them for when they find themselves alone.
Why don't the protagonists who are accused of being uneducated or leeches and losers come out directly with the essential truth. Yes, sometimes the critics refuse to believe the truth, but the whole story seems like something that could have ended right away with, "Well now I know what kind of person you are, good bye and good luck."
I have no idea why these stories place sooooooo much importance on going to college. Millions of people are successful without a college degree. Enough already
My Cousin actually works at the Bank but as the manager and then President of the said bank. He never bragged about his position the way Jack did in the story.
So Jack was hired at the bank because his parents had good jobs at the bank. But his parents also ridiculed Ashley so they really are no better than Jack, they just have never been caught ridiculing other employees at the bank. I wonder if their behavior at the bank is being examined too...because the rotten apple does not fall far from the tree.
So, you work in a bank. Banks aren't doing very well right now. Have fun with that!!! Besides, you don't necessarily need a college degree to work in a bank. Again, have fun with the possibility that your job may be gone soon!
I worked at a bank, not that impressive. Really no reason to brag. My husband married me because he thought I had money because I worked at a bank. Most people working in a bank don’t even have a college education or diploma.
Okay, from what I've learned from these stupid text stories is to always stay from people who use phrases like "elite"..."cute/adorable"..."fat/old hag"...."breadwinner"...lol these people seem to date each other without even TALKING to each other, it's trippy- how do you get ENGAGED to someone without ever saying "hi" at least once to his parents, with whom he sees to live with??! And gigglesnort, my hubby works in a bank but it's basically just IT, it seems boring as crap, whenever he talks about work my eyes glaze over😂😂😂
Okay these stories are fun and all but can't you at least get a actual male voice that doesn't sound like a guy off of an infomercial 😂 the women always sound normal but the men in these stories need some work
Why do people think working in a bank is elite. Yes, there are a lot of different areas, but you still work for a bank, and it is not that brilliant or has life changing high pay rates. I have worked in a bank, 2 different roles, so it's not that big a deal. Is it different overseas than in Australia?
What is with this educational bull and what’s this elite nonsense…is this an Asian issue cause it’s never been an issue in my world. I never heard anyone called an elite.
I'm chiming in on this voice actor who plays Jack. Truth, I turned off the sound and READ the story because this guy's voice is so obnoxious that I understand other commenters (on another story he voiced) saying they turn off the story upon hearing his voice. I mean, he is enthusiastic, but SO obnoxious, and over the top that in another thread an acting coach suggested he tone it down and maybe do some acting classes if he wants to continue. I find it hard to believe that anyone who sounds like this guy or pronounces 'you' as 'yuh' considering himself or being considered by ANYONE an 'elite.' I agree with @arneciachatmon9757 on this thread that he sounds like a cartoon character from the 50's. DO not agree with @arneciachatmon9757 about that 'don't ever change.' Please change. I'm sure you can be much better.
Jack is so high on his own fumes he doesn’t even realize he’s been hit in the face with a sarcasm baseball bat

😂😂😂
Jacks voice would be enough to call off any relationship with him.
Oh yeah. I think the same every time he shows up on a text story. I don't see how any woman could get romantic for a voice like that let alone spend a lifetime listening to it.
Sounds kinda like a bad Shaggy impression (Scooby Doo)
I know that's right! Ugg what a voice. 😮
Well, he's better than the one who sounds like Michael Jackson on sedatives. But I agree, they put up this handsome photo image, and then the voice comes on and I immediately picture some cartoon guy.
The only loser around here is Jack and his sad little family of Bank tellers 😂😂
They couldn't get a better voice for Jack. Nerve bending!
Big deal, he works in a bank. That doesn’t make him rich. The bank is full of other people’s money.
Unless he’s TAKING the other people’s money 😂
My mom worked for a bank, and my dad was an investigation for a major company and we were middle class.
