I'd estimate he'd done quite a few nights in a row by the time this particular video was recorded. He sounds a little worn out but still better than 90% of singers out there. I saw Jimmy in Jacksonville over the weekend (March 2018)and he was the best I've ever heard him. Strong, perfect pitch, unrelenting. He finished his set and asked "anything else you guys wanna hear?" and proceeded to do really tough songs for another solid hour as people called them out. You could have made an album out of his performance. The crowd was small but HIGHLY appreciative and definitely got their money's worth.
This song is great and I love the band, but they don't do so great live, do they? Don't get me wrong, it sounds nice live, but there's not much energy, and the crowd's just standing there staring. Every time I see live everywhere else, the crowd's going nuts.
Their music tends to be stark and emotional and I think people are reacting to that. I saw them live and found them riveting. I would gladly see them again if I get the chance.
One of my all time favorite songs.
Still has that voice? Unbelievable.
A truly underrated genius. The songwriting, vocals and atmosphere that they create is second to none.
One of the most underrated musicians of our lifetimes.
I do agree. What a shame. Same talent as Chris Cornell or Jeff Buckley!!
Saw this years ago on late night television and was instantly a fan, truly a gift to us all.
Always loved them. Distorted Lullabies is one of those perfect records
JPP= just push play
🤘🤘

What show is this from?
Great live version! Sux the crowd didn't feed the energy back. The crowd sucked!
+LogicalUpload When you're in Jimmy's presence, you can't help but watch and admire.
Yea, I'm pretty sure the crowd doesn't know what to do. They've probably never been face to face with someone singing like Jimmy.
I really do love this band, but if Jimmy Gnecco didn't strain so much he could use his voice more throughout the show.
