    @BladerReboot 3 года назад +2

    Nice job man!! I’ve never thought about trying that gray PVC. I’ve only used white, is it similar?
    I dunno if you saw my latest p-rail build video, but I had a similar setup except for it being a rail and two 5’ sections that connect. Wish I could’ve found a pipe that fits inside. I had to order a internal flush connector online lol. I almost bought those same latches you used, but instead went with drop latches. If they end up getting broke I’ll definitely replace with the ones you got.
    20 ft is the perfect length. Super jealous over here. I’m able to fit my whole set up in my Honda fit though 😎.

    • @ThirtyandRollin
      @ThirtyandRollin  3 года назад +1

      Ya the schedule 40 conduit is very hard so it does not dent and is very slick. Learned that from Travis of Bader Union. So far the tension latches work very well in keeping the boxes together. I just wish I drove a truck at times to be able to move theses around town.

    • @pjsanab
      @pjsanab 3 года назад +2

      The schedule 40 it’s stronger than regular PVC. Schedule 80 even stronger. The grey Schedule pipes are sometimes used for electrical applications and supposed to be more UV resistant than the white color PVC.

    • @ThirtyandRollin
      @ThirtyandRollin  3 года назад

      @@pjsanab Yep! But I don't think they sell 80 at Home Depot. Plus any harder it would start getting too brittle I would think.

    • @pjsanab

      @@ThirtyandRollin The Schedule 80 doesn’t get brittle. By code we had to use it before on construction. Cars can literally roll over the 80 and it will not break. It will be more expensive and over kill for grinding...
