you are very clear & informative. Usually I have to watch more than one video for me to be able to catch on to something new. I was able to follow you on the first try. :)
Thank you for this tutorial. I bought the canvas cross' and didn't know what to do with them. I'll be making a fee of these to give away. Happy Thanksgiving.
this would b fun for kids to do. if u had to make a lot, just buy one pack, then cut out more from the pattern. my grandma would let me sew with her canvas when I was younger. she would thread the needle, and sit beside me. what little girl hasn't done that before
+Brittany Lee You are so right, Brittany. I buy the premade shapes because I never fail to nip the wrong spot when trying to cut them out of a large piece. LOL Not just for little girls. I gave one to my young grandson to play with. You can take a piece of yarn and put a bit of tape on the end, sort of like a shoestring, for the very young.
y do ppl start at the bottom? I start at the top and work down. I made 30 of these ( the fill n kind) for the church last Christmas. that's not counting family.
This is not hard oat all but i would not make mine like this because the better you make them if you intend to sale them the more people like them if i knew how to do a video and put it up here i would show you how I do mine. I just wouldnt do mine this way but if people perfer to do it this way fine I just wont bc i dont like the way she is doing it

Hey, I was wondering where you get the pre-made crosses?
Ty for the video. I'm using the new skill now. What size yarn do you use?
I use worsted weight yarn.

How do you fill in the cross? After you do the edge?
I demonstrate filling in the cross about 6 minutes in.

+Brittany Lee I start at the bottom with my "tails". Of course one can do it however one wants.
Why do u put the tail at the bottom?
+Brittany Lee It's decorative. Just my preference.
