    I began my journey with decluttering a few years before divorce knowing I wouldn’t want to do it afterwards. I also researched healing, how to do things better and interior design. I knew I only wanted to have functional and beautiful things and negative space. I want it to be intentional, cohesive and totally different from the hardcore hoarder core my ex made every house. It’s not quite been a year but I’ve made massive progress on every level. Changing up the colour scheme to neutrals has been awesome. I’ve been making furniture and some functional pieces to make life easier and on a budget. These things all go together and I’m feeling calmer and more in control of my home and they’re giving me confidence that things are going to be okay.

    Jennifer I just love your wealth of knowledge when decorating. At times it can seem overwhelming especially when trying to achieve a certain look! I look forward to each and every video and find myself studying spaces in your home to replicate.

    Great tips, and oh my goodness! I ordered a swatch of your living room drapery fabric a few months ago, but couldn't get a good sense of what it would look like larger. I love it - thank you!!

    Thank you good info I just moved in to a new house and I’m committed not to pack everything I had in the old house I’m definitely committed to get rid of a little of stuff

      Yes, I packed up thinking I was not keeping the house (I did) and when I unpacked I wondered why I kept some stuff even though I’d been decluttering for a few years. All the best for the new chapter in your life. 😊

    Hi Jennifer!
    Just discovered your channel and getting lots of inspiration for my new home
    One thing I cut my eye when you were showing us your home office was the shelves that you have- the simple white wire ones.
    I need those for my closet!
    Would you mind providing a link to where you purchase those? I especially like the brackets on the walls where you can adjust each shelf .
    Thanks so much!!
    Lorry🌸

    ....The thing about " Gallery Walls "...soooo many people have those. ..and I actually prefer Beautiful Photos Frames, that complement one another, but are not " mstchy- match-y". I think this is something that falls under " personal preference ', lol. I like seeing my loved ones' photos ,..just not on a wall. :)

    Hi Jennifer, I am new to your channel. I have a bedroom that I will be painting. My inspiration came from 2 art prints with french stores with greenery and flowers.. The store for one of the prints is Cafe De France.. so I was thinking of a french style room, but not over doing it.. It is a small room. Do you have a video on when taking inspiration from art how to get started? I know the walls will be neutral, Natural Linen by Sherwin Williams.. as the background has a neutral color in the art prints. We may be changing the bed, so I am thinking of the the bigger items that need to be done first. I just thought I would ask about if you had that sort of video. I am not looking to be a designer. Just want to update one of our bedrooms. Thank you.

    May I suggest adding more visual examples of what you're describing and do a voice over instead? This would be so helpful. The sound would improve naturally and you could avoid the in-and-out choppy editing. Hope you don't mind the feedback. It's not that we don't want to look at you but some of us need visualization in learning and to maintain interest. Thanks!

      Well, I am sorry the zooming bothered you! I am working on creating an easy course to help people who don't want to become designers, but learn for their own homes! Soon...

    Jennifer, what size are the Euro pillows on your bed? Are they 20”, 22”, 24” - or even larger? Help! I’ve got several sizes in my Amazon cart and don’t know which ones to choose. My headboard is tall, maybe not quite as tall as yours, but close. I’d appreciate your help. ~ Linda

    • @JenniferDecorates
      @JenniferDecorates  7 месяцев назад +1

      Linda, I would do at least 24" so they look like Euro pillows! Good luck, you have got this!
