This is genius. I’ve been getting a lot of sacks due to my understanding of Madden’s resistance system. But you took it to a totally different level. I will def implement this!
Great video!! I will definitely use this. What defensive scheme do you run? Which playbook works best for you? I’m an older guy who hasn’t played Madden in years but decided to get 24’ to play with my son and his friends….mid 20’s, and I need some help lol. My defense plays better in a 3-4 than a 4-3. I appreciate any help or advice you can give…..offensively or defensively.
My scheme is very basic/ beginner friendly. I use Baltimore’s defensive playbook, and rotate my pass rushers all over the line to keep their pass rush points fresh for clear passing downs. I match personnel 80% of the game until I figure out certain tendencies - like will my opp run the ball on 3rd & 5 or less, which formation are they more likely to pass from, and go from there. I’ll typically play coverage for the first few 3rd downs, then blitz if I feel my 4 man rush isn’t getting home.
@@iHOOLIGGAN nice!! I appreciate the info. I like the Ravens playbook, I do tend to use the Jaguars as well. I’ll get myself comfortable with using different players and personnel in blitzes. ✌🏼
I needed this. I noticed that I always get more sacks in a 3-4 scheme than a 4-3, regardless of who I have. I use 34 over & bear on run downs & I’m in Nickel or Dime on passing downs. I forgot about formation subs but it’s always been clutch
I’ve been all about pass rush since madden 07 , defensive scheme also plays a role I’m on two diffrent franchises I’m running Tampa 2 defense on one of them , in general you need one good corner , outside linebacker , DE
Just saw your video new to madden so just some questions if you don’t mind answering so moving your players around will prevent that green bar above the offense lineman to show because it will be a different opponent to guard. I hear you say you have a defense scheme just trying to understand that?
Moving your pass rushers around doesn’t “remove the green bar”, it prevents the OLine from building up their resistance bars. Which allows your DLine/ LBs to have a better chance at a pass rush win, which leads to quicker pressures and ultimately - sacks.
Oh ok I see and understand so what about a scheme I heard you say that do you have a video on explaining how to make a defense scheme just trying to learn how to make a scheme
