Love, love, love this wines of this Domaine!! So many good memories with their Cab Franc and Chenin. The standout was undoubtedly a 2013 Les Arboises I enjoyed for my birthday a couple of years ago out in London. Such a special wine - one of my all time favourite Cab Francs! Also thoroughly enjoyed tasting through the range at the Domaine that same year!

I haven't had too many older examples of Guiberteau Cabernet Franc, but I suspect the Les Arboises would be a treat to try with 10 years of age. Lucky you! I am going to admit, I have only had their Saumur Blanc and it was delicious, especially fort it's humble address. However, for how delicious it was and a little research afterwards, I feel really comfortable buying their higher end wines. From talking to friends and tasting the bottom of their totem pole, they seem to make spot on red and whites of all equal importance. I buy them when I can find and afford them Loire whites made from Chenin are probably my favorite whites people - if you like Chenin or cab franc or just like interesting wines - buy a bottle of their base level wine in both colors and get a glimpse to what is possible with these two grapes
You nailed it, Jason! The whole range is really exceptional, white and reds. I have more experience with the reds (obvs LOL) but I do enjoy the domaine white from time to time when I can find it. In particular, I think the "entry-level" reds (the domaine cuvée and Les Moulins) both over-deliver for the price and are delicious when young.
