Shane, if you go a bit further upstream from the last markers and opposite the big sand bank in the middle, there is a lot better all tide access. I used to stay in a green shack there near the swamp. I have stayed at Tahiti beach where you did and it is a PITA for tides then one night we had a northerly that swamped my boat.
True could easy see how that could happen, its pretty exposed to north. my original plan was to camp up the creek further on the other side of the creek, but was talked in to that beach because of the predicted southerly. ill havebto check out a bit further up next time def be heading back up there.
