How does an infant/small child even find a drug?? Come on-let's have the real facts behind these awful deaths. Who was with these victims? Who is the parent/guardian/adult around when this happened? Where are the arrests, investigations, and serious charges? Who are involved?

The House Bill 1227 passed in Washington State, entitled, "Keeping Families Together Act" in July. This bill now makes addiction, poverty, homelessness, life-style etc from being a "barrier" to keeping kids away from bio family. The "solution" if to have parents sign a "safety plan" stating they will lock up their drugs, only use when the other parent is sober, & are given metal containers with locks, by the state, to keep their drugs in. Active users get to keep their kids, and not only that, but are flooded with "resources" to keep their kids in their home.
The child is back in the home where they ingested fentanyl??? WTF! Isn’t child protective services called? Poor kids I can only imagine the lovely environment they are being raised in with fentanyl in the house
Why are those child overdose cases allowed to return to the home, parental or guardian care in which those cases occured? That sounds insane.
