That's amazing wanting to learn a new language. I am glad the video is of help to you. There's alot more videos on the channel to help you through your learning journey. keep learning & don't give up 💪😊
Your videos are a great find. My wife is Ugandan, an excellent wife, but not a good language teacher haha. We are going to Uganda in December, and I want to impress my in-laws. I'm sure your videos will help. Thank you!
Hey keke, this was tremendously helpful as a half ugandan boy and a half southafrican boy I sometime travel to Uganda to see my brothers and sisters. It is quite dissapointing that I don't know my lugandan but the help of you I can impress them. Thanks!
I feel so excited, but I don't know who I am really happy with between you and the language. please continue giving us more lessons and keep keeping it short like that. I really like your teaching. stay blessed.
Hey Keke, came across you on a FB group, this was a great little video, can’t wait to watch the rest of them, really going to help me not being lazy next time I visit UG!! And speak some Luganda. 😊
Thank u so much. I watch part 1 n part 2 alot. I meet a girl in kampala I luv her . Ur video help me. Wen I speak in luganda she luv it. Thank u I no half of the words now. Please make more videos like this. Thank u from America
Thank you this is a great video. My wife lives I. Kampala, it's so uncomfortable not knowing the language. The currency exchange was a challenge, I'm learning that as well. I will return to surprise her with my powerful skills in speaking and negotiations of boda boda.
Hi Dave, it must be challenging to learn a new language. Keep persevering. I took years without visiting uganda & I myself struggled alot with the currency exchange & negotiating. I believe I am a master at negotiating with boda bodas now 🤣🤣 I always attempt to walk away to get them to accept the final price🤣 keep learning. I am sure your wife will be shocked & proud 😁
Thank you very much (weebale nnyo), your videos are very helpful to me learning Luganda. Today I was able to say I love you (nkwagala) to my mother in-law. She can read English, but does not speak it. Even though I struggled with the pronunciation, she smiled and was happy I am trying. Thank you so very much, for your teaching videos, this means very much to me, to learn, to communicate with my Uganda family, whom I love so very much.
Thank you this is awesome! Hubs is from Ug and our daughter and I want to learn so we can speak to her Jajja in Luganda! I know Oli Otya and Buulungi but I'm writing all this down (and learning the spelling so I'm going back to watch this again lol). I hope you keep it up!
Thank you so, so very much for these awesome lessons! I am traveling to Uganda next fall/early winter and I wish to learn your beautiful language! It is so hard as I am older so I really appreciate your lessons!!
@@JosephbrightonJohny😊luganda is very easy to speak I tell you every you need to practice a word or sentence and the tone matters , you can say something when your tone is strong and people might call you rude so the tone also matters . I can teach you if you want
Waooow good job my husband has started following, l asked myself where he got the word olyotya, and l got shocked before telling that he needs to learn my native language 🤝🤝big up
Hi Keke, am still wrapping my head around learning a new language, other than my friend i came to visit earlier this year, i am wondering about something here with this lesson, maybe it's on the next one, anyway so as my lessons on the greetings i got a slightlu different way of doing it (though i think it may have to do with the many different tribes from my understanding) she had taught me a different greeting that goes like "Keke yoga" (ok the yoga part not sure how to spell it though right as of yet) but the greetings started like that how much of a variable is this from what you are teaching here?
Thank you for the help I try to speak to my Ugandan girlfriend and she did not understand the language but it is probably my accent I am learning I appreciate your help
Thank You, Kaka. Pls keep the small talk to the end. Be to the point and do it from the start. I like you saying it slowly and then speeding it up. Repeat, Repeat. Siiba Bulungi
Hi there keke... ive subscribe and watching your luganda basic language...hope you can help my daughter learn more about Luganda language shes 5 years old
I love your videos and recommended the channel to a TZ friend, who is interested in learning. However, could you please rectify in your description? Luganda is not Uganda’s national language. It’s a language spoken by the Baganda tribe and it is undeniably dominant in central Uganda. Uganda has over 54 tribes, each with their own language. People in some parts of Ug can’t speak Luganda. Unfortunately, Uganda’s national/official language is English😭… Thanks for the context❤️ Uganda to the world🇺🇬
This is nicely done but the problem is that different ugandan teaching videos- by different persons of course- are teaching different phrases as the correct greetings. how should a nuzungo know which is the correct one?
I am a Filipino and I wanted to learn your language. This video is really helpful. More power to you.
