Shouldn't have gone is present perfect. It is used when we talk about a past regret. Shouldn't went is wrong. You can say I shouldn't go....which is talking about a future idea.
thank you.. i hope i can remember that.. pls upload more videos, there is something about the way you teach or something about your looks that is appealing to me.. pls correct my grammar if its wrong..
Bubkubkubjk Yvjh well you should've said: "everybody makes mistakes, not "do" or if using the latter word, "Everybody does make mistakes for more emphasis.. get it?!
EnglishLessons4U - Learn English with Ronnie! [engVid] hello Ms Ronnie i am one of your fan's ❤, may i request how to use could and would. Im confused of using could and would. Thank you so much 😚😚😚
Hey there Ronnie. Props, you've been doing a great job.👏👏👏💪🏼 I've been using many of your videos to help my students learn English. 🇺🇸🗣... By the way, I used to tell them that the p.p of the verb to run is "run". 🤔☺
HI I AM SWATI FROM INDIA. I LIKE YOUR TEACHING. I HAVE LEARN T MANY THINGS. I LIKE YOUR STYLE OF TEACHING WITH HUMOR. I AM ALSO TEACHER. I HOPE I CAN TEACH LIKE YOU. THANK YOU.
Ronny you are such a nice person and excellent teacher! thanks for your videos!! I made many mistakes throughout the way to learn what I know now. love and regards from Argentina
I shouldn't have watched this video because now, I 'm looking forward to seeing the others one, it's really unfair...thank you very much ronny for all your very interesting advices and your great teaching. Seb from France.
hi ronnie thanks a lot you have changed my way of thinking every time I have decided to use infinitive verbs...TY so much and I'll keep watching your video...hehe
Hello Miss, I'm good in English. I have been learning English since one and half year ago. Since that time to now I've been getting confuse in ''Ought To''. Please make a video about it. Thanking you in anticipation. And one more think I'm your fan because in starting I wanted to leave learning spoken English caurse of you I did practice better than others in my class. I'll wait for you reply. Romie Jai'jaan, From - Delhi in India,
Thanks a lot, you are a wonderful teatcher. I like your humor: it's a pleasure to learn with you. May I ask you this: I have difficulty using infinitive in a sentence as subject and so, which next sentence is correct? -Ex: " Read without glasses is too difficult for me!" or " To read without glasses is to difficult for me!" or is gerund correct? "Reading without glasses is too difficult for me?" Thanks for your answer. I'm French-speaking and I have learned English since the end of 2011!
I should have thanks. Is it a correct sentence. Pls help me. Thanks a lot for your wonderful effort of teaching english through videos. They really helpful to me. I love you as teacher and your expressions.
I will just give my opinion about your question. The two examples that you gave are both correct. However, I prefer the gerund form of read because its usage is common and you might referring to the act (reading). Hope this help. ^^
@gelflingy I think when pronouncing, we using "of" for easy understanding, but when writing, it should be "should've" like when you say "have" very fast and have the short "'ve". It's just my opinion.
I Just started watching your videos and I learned a lot with this lesson. I can uderstand english but when it is time to talk or write it I make a lot of mistakes in grammar. Thank you for taking your time to teach others. God Bless :D
Easy, when you regret something is because of something you did wrong in the past. Example: I regret that I had eaten your cake. Apologize is when you are asking someone for forgiveness: I'd like to apologize...I didn't mean to do those things to you. I hope I helped u...bye🙂😉🤍
I was astonished whether you're right in the verb run. When watching your video before the end , I said but she made a mistake but how come she wouldn't have made it , she is a native speaker.Never mind we all made in somehow mistakes.
@LTN000 I know how you feel-I am a native English speaker, but still ended up watching this! GRRR.... (In a weird way, its sort of interesting). I guess she's a good teacher.
Luis Roberto Rebolloso Orozco CORRECT “should’ve”, “would’ve”, and “could’ve” all sound like should of, would of, and could of.. they’re just not supposed to be spelled that way 🙂
Hi Ronnie, your videos are so helpful. I really like the way you explain things very well with good examples. If you got enough time can you make some videos on Subject-Verb agreement, Articles, and Prepositions. I really need to improve those for my IELTS test. Thanks indeed.. :)
Hi Ronnie,You should have explained why it sounds like "of" but it actually is "ve" of "have". "I should've " = "I should have". Pardon me if I'm wrong.
and Ms. English Teacher, it can be confusing to the learners when you use "should of" cos that's grammatically wrong. and we have another choice to write by using short forms like "should've", which is way better than "should of" which can make learners confused and is wrong grammatically as well. :)
Shouldn't have gone is present perfect. It is used when we talk about a past regret.
Shouldn't went is wrong. You can say I shouldn't go....which is talking about a future idea.
What is the difference between regret and mistakes?
@hotguylover619 you MUST use the past participle when talking about regrets in the past! you cannot say I should have went....it is wrong!
I'm glad you noticed the mistake..... but you didn't watch the entire video! Give it a go.

I have just done the Mistakes & Regrets quiz and I got 5 correct out of 5. Thanks Ronnie! =)
I will just give my opinion about your question. The two examples that you gave are both correct. However, I prefer the gerund form of read because its usage is common and you might referring to the act (reading). Hope this help. ^^
I should arrive before 5 pm.

Difference between regret and apologize please
Easy, when you regret something is because of something you did wrong in the past.
Example: I regret that I had eaten your cake.
Apologize is when you are asking someone for forgiveness:
I'd like to apologize...I didn't mean to do those things to you.
I hope I helped u...bye🙂😉🤍
I was astonished whether you're right in the verb run. When watching your video before the end , I said but she made a mistake but how come she wouldn't have made it , she is a native speaker.Never mind we all made in somehow mistakes.
No to act like I'm the know-it-all-man but I did notice the mistake about the past participle of "run". (I'm not a native speaker)
very good for someone dont know about English
you have make a mistake at 5:15 run= past participle it's not ran, sorry if i make a mistake in thus sentence i don't speak english
@LTN000 I know how you feel-I am a native English speaker, but still ended up watching this! GRRR.... (In a weird way, its sort of interesting). I guess she's a good teacher.
have=of, so, now i got it! thank you from Russia!
really very nice video
I have a comment, when we use the contraction of Should have (should've) in a conversation, the sound could be like Should of, that is correct???
Luis Roberto Rebolloso Orozco CORRECT “should’ve”, “would’ve”, and “could’ve” all sound like should of, would of, and could of.. they’re just not supposed to be spelled that way 🙂
@EnglishLessons4U hello madam can u tell anything how to improve english grammer and english usage problems?
Hi Ronnie, your videos are so helpful. I really like the way you explain things very well with good examples. If you got enough time can you make some videos on Subject-Verb agreement, Articles, and Prepositions. I really need to improve those for my IELTS test. Thanks indeed.. :)

Ayat Fahmy salaamu alaik how are you doing my dear
Hi! there are other example or videos of the 'regret structure'? This lesson is focused more on Should! thx
@vjjs94 "I should have studied" is much better then saying "I should of studied!"
Thank you, from indonesia. your videos are so help me to try speak in english. hehe :)
Hi Ronnie,You should have explained why it sounds like "of" but it actually is "ve" of "have". "I should've " = "I should have". Pardon me if I'm wrong.
Thanks a lot,from TAJIKISTAN
