For the dislike part..the allen key magnetically attachable to the handle (always with you,always😊)...you can charge the gimbals with a power bank(make sure a cable length enough when you put in your pocket)and also you can charge your camera at the same time (using a gimbals usb port)...how about that one!
Great tip! The magnetic attachment is sweet for sure, and I like the workaround for the powerbank, but still not ideal if that's the only way to do it and you use it often for professional shoots. But nonetheless, us creators are some of the craftiest people out there!

Hello am from Philippines 🇵🇭 just in case I win this giveaway .... it will fulfill my dream of being a film maker .... I really want to win here because I have no money to buy gimbal😪
I want to win the FeiyuTech AK2000 because it's really hard to shoot videos handheld. Although handheld shots have its place, I just want to personally try how it's like to be shooting on a gimbal and making smooth videos. Thanks for the chance! Great review! I love your inception mode sample shots!
If I Lucky to won I will use it for my school project that coming soon I need to make the shot film at least 15min If I got the good gimbal for my camera (Fuji XT3) to shoot may it will make me so happy I guess 😂😂 I hope I won it
I'm starting to make a review of my own if i win the ak 2000 maybe it would be useful for my canon EOS M3.. i just want to make the most of my camera with the gimbal. And if it doesn't. I will give it away to new youtubers who can't afford to buy one yet. Your kindness will pass along. God bless you sir!
I just received my AK2000S and what a disappointment. The AK2000S works well when hooked to an external power source. Attempted to charge the internal battery with no luck. The AK2000S acts as if there is no battery in it at all. If I want to use it I will have to get an extra long extension cord or external battery.
Hey David Nice video. Difficult to find people with experience with specific gimbals. I've got my hands on a Feiyutech AK2000S gimbal for my Sony ZV-E10 camera. I can't seem to get the camera to recognize the gimbal? In Feiyutechs official video the camera just instantly connects to the gimbal. I've tried to turn on the gimbal first before the camera, but I can't seem to get it to function. The Sony ZV-E10 is on the compatibility list on the Feiyutech AK2000S, so it should work? Do you have any experience with the Sony ZV-E10 or any tips on how to do the connection in the correct order, or any specific setting within they camera that might prevent this? I've made sure smartphone control is off, and PC remote control is on and set to USB. I can't seem to find much info on pepole with the AK2000S gimbal and the Sony ZV-E10 :/
How good is the follow focus on this? I used the ak2000 and the follow focus 2... it wasn't the best I had to return the gimbal. Is this more compatible now the software and motors have been updated or is it still a bit naff? Cheers for the great review though looks impressive!
The follow focus was okay, I didn’t feel much of a difference between the one that came with the AK2000 vs the AK2000S. I tend to use AF when flying on these gimbals so I haven’t put them to as much of a test as I could have. Hope that helps!
@@DavidZhou Yes thanks helps a lot! Do you know if the follow focus comes with the kit or whether you have to buy it separately? I am hoping to upgrade, is it compatible with the panasonic g80 also??
Hola ,intenté conectarlo a una Canon 80d desde usb en cámara 2 hasta el mini port usb de la Canon ,al hacerlo puedo controlar el autofocus pero me arroja error 70 la Canon ,sabes algo ??será el cable ??,saludos
I have handycam Sony fdr ax-53 with a Multi socket and I would like to control the camera from the gimbal level (recording on / off, zoom). Will it be possible with the Sony USB control cable: Type C to Multi, which is included?
Do not buy the AK2000s gimbal, I bought one and in two months the power button was damaged and then it does not work anymore, there have been countless cases with the same problem and Feiyu company does not respond .I do not recommend it.
i recently go a new camera (Canon EOS 200D Mark II) for christmas, so if i won i wanna would use it to improve my film quality. i recently started to start film all my friends at the skate park and at the bmx track and i think this would be perfect for that.
If i won this gimbal, I will use it for my sideline as a student. I do short films, prenuptial videos and photoshoots. I hope that this one is for me! 💛
If I won this gimbal I would use it to begin my journey in filmmaking. It would also be a great tool to have that would aid me in my studies as a cinema and tv production major.
I would practice my videography with it! I've been saving for a DJI Mavic Pro drone so I could do landscape videography and practice my editing and special effects editing, with this gimbal I would accomplish so much and get a better feel of technology and movement. I hope you consider me!
I want this gimbal for my DSLR for film making project Lots of love u wish u 100k sub soon I will support u in every step Plz help me I am from poor family I can't buy gimbal frequently
If I won it, I would use it for my new business with filmmaking and videography. I worked so hard for a dslr and now I’m ready to take it to the next lecel
Did I understand you, there is no app it’s all in the gimbal!! Fantastic. I have a LUMIX GX8. Will it be compatible with this gimbal? It looks great, then perhaps I need a different camera set-up. 😁
Is the al 2000s compatibel for the canon slr3 DSLR? And is it a problem the hdmi ports are on the right side? Thx for the review it's amazing to hear about all the pro and cons. Keep up the good job 😉
Another reviewer showed that you can store the screws in the bottom of the handle and that the Allen key can be magnetically attaches to the handle. Just FYI. Hope that helps you.
This is a GREAT review, thank you! Can you tell me if there is significant loss of functionality if my dslr isn't on the compatible cameras list? I know I will not be able to use wifi or control the shutter, but would it be worth buying without these? The prices on the 'compatible' cameras can sometimes be prohibitive. Thank you again for the review!
Personally, I think the wifi/shutter control is a nice feature but my main priority with gimbals is just how well it can stabilize my shots, and based on that, I think it'd still be worth the buy!
Great video! ..I noticed it looks like the same app as the g6 Max , would you be able to use the app with the gimbal For using a smart phone as the camera, like how the g6 Max works with the app and smart phone? Record button, active track, zoom?
Hey, could anyone tell me please how to set start and end point for motion timelapse mode? I just found videos for the AK2000, and there it's apparently done by moving the axis by hand. With my AK2000S, this is not possible due to the motors being blocked. Thank you!
The original gimbal I wanted the Weebill S has just got a pretty bad reviews from Vu of Vu films. Two of its motor locks have broken. I think he's testing one of these at the moment.
I am in the market for a gimbal. This video is about as helpful as any I’ve seen describing a gimbal. Thanks so much for sharing your review of this gimbal!
Awesome review sir!!! If i win this gimbal it will probably help a lot in my video productions. I like your review, thanks. Two issues: the arm is attached by a nice thumbscrew in the website photo therefore no L wrench necessary. I contacted the company so their explanation is that it was not secure with the thumbscrew therefore hex screws are provided, seems odd; and second, does the unit offer pass through charging? If so then you can charge by C-type connect to a battery pack and continue using. I believe I saw another review that stated pass through charging was supported by the unit.
Ooh, that might have to come soon. However, they're definitely both great gimbals in their own regards, they each having annoying quirks - maybe that's what I could focus on in the videos!
It would really help me out when it comes to improving my cinematography , and of course having it will result in adding more value to my content in the long run .
Absolutely, it'd be well under the weight capacity and should be able to get camera controls - I'd check their websites compatibility list just in case though!
Thank you very much for the excellent and complete review! Let me ask you an opinion: I bought a short time ago the Moza AirCross 2 to use it with my Canon 6D, but I returned it as it had some problems especially with the horizon alignment (maybe my 6D was too big and heavy?). Now I have a Sony A7 III and I'm thinking of buying this AK2000S; what do you think? Is it better than Moza AirCross 2? Currently this is the best the market offers (quality/price) for my Sony A7 III? Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
Robby Fontanesi hey Robby! I think the AK2000S would be more than capable for handling an A7III with short lenses like the 24mm, 50mm, and even up to the 85mm GM! I wouldn’t try anything huge like a 70-200 but this gimbal can definitely handle a lot! I think for this price segment this one has a lot to offer, but just in case, two other options I’d consider looking at would be the Ronin-SC or the Zhiyun Weebill S!
@@DavidZhou I've read that the Sony A7III on the Ronin SC risks touching it with the viewfinder if you have to balance it with a somewhat heavy lens, since you have to move it far back. I really like the second grip handle, both to have a more stable grip (as you rightly say in the video) and to make less effort. At this point though, I've had a look at the Weebill S (thanks for the advice!) and since it's more compact and the second handle is much easier to assemble and disassemble I think I'll go for this one... Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
Hi, super duper review! you are great! I wanted to respond to two of your concerns: 1. Feiyu provides an allen key/wrench, cleverly attached to the arm by a magnet so it's always there; 2. for long shoots the battery lasts 8 hours and can be charged while you are shooting. I can't imagine any video shoot of a pro level that would shoot continually for 8 hours. But even so, just bring an external charger and you are good!
Regarding 1) that’s cool I didn’t know! And 2) unfortunately I just recently shot a wedding with it and the charge only lasted me about 3 hours of continuous use
It's a fantastic gimbal. I can run with it and the video is still super smooth. There's a bit of a learning curve, but when you get it down, it's great.
The undeslugn handle has a magnet port to put the screwdriver as well as a small storage Tube to store the screws.
First class Review im gonna buy it
I found out afterwards! It’s pretty neat!
I had tons of success with ak2000. Switched over to weebill lab and I prefer the weebill. Either way you can't go wrong.
Agreed! They’re both great compact gimbals, I too prefer the Weebill Lab - but either will give you great results
For the dislike part..the allen key magnetically attachable to the handle (always with you,always😊)...you can charge the gimbals with a power bank(make sure a cable length enough when you put in your pocket)and also you can charge your camera at the same time (using a gimbals usb port)...how about that one!

Please help can I use the gm fe 24-70 mm lens with a alpha a73
Yes! It’ll support the weight - you’ll just have to make sure to balance correctly (and re-balance if you plan on zooming a lot)
Weebill S can handle heavier setups, if you compare the compatibility sheets. I also wish it had removable batteries. Are you listening Feiyu Tech?
