@@venxm243that too i agree its a fun mini game of sorts but they should have done it in a better way. Like hacking a safe for goodies and while one agent unlocks it the mini game begins and they have to fight the enemies that approach to stop you.

Then when I redeemed some promo codes and none of those had the 100 free pulls, I looked and found your video explaining about how I should work on it. It kinda disheartened me in a way. ive played star rail for purpose of unlocking silver wolf and nothing else (but grinding was too much after a certain amount of pulls so i gave up) . im playing this game because it looks pretty interesting and i find a lot of the characters really cool but only interested in unlocking two. this whole gambling thing really makes me like the game less. it just gives off the impression of greed, i hate gambling so much. i enjoy working hard to unlock said characters but working hard just for a __chance__ to unlock them just makes me not want to play the game at all because of that one aspect of the game.

I dunno how people find a game where you just mash 2 buttons and get 3 animations per character, and you just mash until a QTE a djsabled baby has enough time to do. All the production value of this game went into cutscenes and physics rather than actually making a good game with variety in it mechanics and at least smth to explore rather than extremely linear and basic levels

you guys in the comments act like something like this has never happened and its a scam but they never said how you would get the free 100 summons. you guys just assumed it would be through mail or gift code. your assumption is what mislead you not the game. it works well as a way to stop rerollers since they lose money that way and it is a gatcha game. play untill you unlock events which maybe takes a hour and you already have about 60 -70 pulls which gives you a S character. you guys seem to forget it is a free game that you can play without spending any money yet you will still complain because free shit isnt handed to you. with the mentality of gatcha mobile gamers these days you will move onto the next one in a few weeks so why bother complaining.
That’s one of my biggest issues with these types of games - there is always another one about to release. Constantly. They never end. So you can’t sit down and just enjoy one until the next one comes haha you keep finding new ones

Those are normally done for game anniversaries to try bring in new players and get them caught up. But I do agree it is misleading but it's not uncommon

It sucked. I was super excited because I used to play Genshin and Honkai, and I thought finally I’d get some good Agents and have a good time and a leg up. And sadly that didn’t happen. Yes. The pulls are free, but you literally have to play a good bit of the game before you get them.
I don't think they understand what "free" means, if we're leveling and earning the rewards then they're not free, they're earned. Their "free" is probably "we're not making you pay for it" 😂

i think they do (and did) this with HSR, right? the advertisements for HSR always say "80 free pulls" when most of them are just levelling rewards

You get them as you play. It isn’t all 100 pulls at once. You’re earning the currency doing missions and completing parts of the story.
