You should be feeling virtuous! I love stickers, the snowman is fun. the knot in the bag strap is really cute. What a great use of leftover fabric. The Southbank looks great and fits as intended.
Loved the bestie bag and your second south bank dress is so cute. Bear looks so content and ready to snuggle down for a good nap. My little chihuahua will come and peek in my sewing room. She wants head rubs. As soon as she gets a couple head rubs she runs down the hall and is back in 15-20 minutes for another head rub.
The dress is so cute and the bag turned out so well - I'm sure your SIL loved it! The lining in the handbag I use the most is dark and it can be hard to see things in there - the lighter lining color would be a good idea, I'm thinking. The white frosting on the cupcakes looks like snow - no sprinkles needed 😄. I make a ton of Christmas cookies for gifts, friends, family - it's a lot of work but I enjoy it and so do the recipients. If I got started now I might be ready for next Christmas on time...🤔
My SIL loved her bag! She said “it was totally her”. Yay! Such a great idea to have lighter fabrics for linings. I’m thinking you’re right - it would be much easier to see the stuff you have in there.
Cute ornament! Lovely quilting fabrics! That Bestie Bag will be so handy for your SIL. Hope your coughing settles down soon. That’s such an energy drain. Thanks for sharing your day.
That blue Southbank looks fab on you 💙. I love the Bestie Bag too, that's my kind of bag, understated without structure. I don't like leather rigid bags. I can see you making more of those for people 😂. What I can never get over when I watched you or any American cooking is your white eggs, ours in the UK are about 99% brown. Strange we keep to our own type of chicken 😂. Yours look so much nicer! Enjoy Christmas Eve and a very Merry Christmas ❤ xx
Thank you! I am definitely tempted to start making Bestie Bags for everyone's birthday this year LOL You can buy brown eggs in Canada as well. To be honest, I'm not sure what the difference is between the two LOL
Your Bestie bag is adorable! Great job on that zipper modification too. The Southbank looks like my kind of dress for colder weather. So comfortable but with style. You wear it well.
Your new Southbank looks fabulous, Izzy! Congratulations on a hugely productive day and thank you for taking us along for Vlogmas. It has really added to my holiday season. Wishing you and your family a beautiful holiday.
Your second Southbank is as gorgeous as your first one Izzy, you definitely suit that style of dress. I have the pattern and material but have never made the dress as I'm not sure I'm comfortable in dresses but you have inspired me to give it a go. Thank you so much for your Vlogmas, I have enjoyed every episode. I hope you have a lovely Christmas and have a well earned break over the rest of your time off.
Thank you! I'm not a lover of dresses either and I'm not sure I would wear this style of dress in the warmer months, without tights. But these two are super comfy and will be worn all winter long I'm sure.
Love your second Southbank dress!! It looks more structured but does not look snug at all. The bestie bag for your sister in law turn out great. I was piecing my pattern together the other day but I think my Macbook Air is not printing correctly lately as the pieces are challenging to fit together. I am going to give it a try anyway out of some repurposed corduroy to test it out! Merry Christmas!
Funny - I also use a MacBook Air and the printing has been weird for me as well. It's like the bottom of the page doesn't print properly so I have to guess where the pages would overlap. The Bestie Bag would be amazing in a cord. I have some faux leather that I want to try a Bestie Bag with... should be interesting!
You look absolutely fabulous in your new dress. Your sister in law will love her new bag. I have loved seeing your Vlogmas and I too shall miss seeing you every day. December has flown by hasn't it?
That is the perfect dress for you Izzy! You look stunning in both versions. Thank you so much for taking the time to do Vlogmas. I really enjoyed watching all of your videos! Have a Merry Christmas with your beautiful family ❤❤
Hi Izzie, you look lovely in your Southbank sweater dress - worn with tights - you will look amazing. I would just like to thank you for your daily vlogmas as they have been most enjoyable. Wishing you and your family a lovely Christmas. 🌸
You look good in your new Southbank dress! Thank you so much for vlogmas this year--it was my little bit of sanity in this hectic season. Merry Christmas to you and your family🎄🎅🏻!
Welcome to the Southbank Club! Both of your dresses look lovely on you. I was introduced to the dress by Andrea of Beyond the Pink Door and now have five and not a year goes by without me making another. I have removed the bands and cuffs from mine but like styling it both ways. I love wearing them in the winter time with thick tights. I’m sure you’re going to have many happy times wearing yours. Have a lovely Christmas.
I wore my burgundy Southbank for Christmas lunch today and I was so comfy! I absolutely love it and will wear it all the time I know it. I hope you had a fantastic Christmas!
As far as zipper installations go, this one is really easy. Very clearly explained in the instructions. Definitely give this one a try! Let me know how it goes if you do.
9 to 9.30 early evening!!!😮? I am getting ready for bed at that time😂😂😂. Loving the Bestie( I have the pattern but not made it yet)and the Southbank is different but equally as lovely as the knit one. I want to make another one in cream cable knit but supposed to be on a buying ban ……..🤔 Happy Sewing 😊. Lynne
LOL I usually go to bed around 11 pm. A Southbank in a cream cable knit would be stunning. I think you definitely deserve to buy some as a present to yourself. LOL xx
Merry Xmas! I don’t normally watch vlogmas videos but I enjoyed every day of yours. I wonder if you could post a link to the bestie bag zipper technique you used. Thanks to you I now own the bestie bag and southbank dress patterns! Happy holidays to you!
I love both of your South Bank dresses. I don't have that pattern but am wondering if I could achieve a similar look with the Love Notions Arlington by adding a band at the bottom. Is the bottom band on the south bank a 1:1?
Hmmm... not sure. I don't own the Toaster but from what I've seen, the Toaster is very boxy. The Southbank has shaping at the waist to bring it in a bit.
Hi Izzy, Mad about Patchwork is very close to me! If you ever decide to visit in person let me know, and we could meet up for lunch or something? Janet
You should be feeling virtuous! I love stickers, the snowman is fun. the knot in the bag strap is really cute. What a great use of leftover fabric. The Southbank looks great and fits as intended.
Thank you! The sticker is now on the protective cover of my DX-7 Juki and I love it!

She wants head rubs. As soon as she gets a couple head rubs she runs down the hall and is back in 15-20 minutes for another head rub.
Thank you! Bear is constantly with me in the sewing room and he does want cuddles from time to time, but always on his terms. LOL
The Bestie Bag is amazing! She will love it! Nice dress! Merry Christmas! 🥰🎄
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas!

Love your South Bank sweater dress and the bestie bag I'm definitely going to check those patterns out. Have a Merry Christmas Izzy!❤🌲
Thank you Becky! Merry Christmas to you as well. xx
Good job on all your makes. The different fabrics for your southbanks gives you 2 different looks with the exact same pattern. I like both of them
Thank you Nancy!
❤ thank you for spending your precious time pre Christmas making these vlogs for us. I’ve watched every one of them and I’m enjoying them so much x
Thank you so much Karen! I really appreciate you watching!

The dress looks so nice! I’ve got to try the bestie bag, I’ve never sewn a handbag.
Thank you! As far as bags go, the Bestie is a really good one for a beginner. If you like the look of it, give it a try!
You look absolutely fabulous in your new dress. Your sister in law will love her new bag. I have loved seeing your Vlogmas and I too shall miss seeing you every day. December has flown by hasn't it?

Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you as well. xx
I've been planning a southbank or two this winter. I just had the pattern printed. Love yours!
Thank you! It's such a fun and easy sew and I love the dresses!
That bag is really nice😊wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and see you in the New Year
Merry Christmas to you too and happy New Year!
I’m going to give the bag a try. Ive been wanting to make one. I’m terrified of zipper projects.
As far as zipper installations go, this one is really easy. Very clearly explained in the instructions. Definitely give this one a try! Let me know how it goes if you do.

Thank you so much Zelda! If you watch today's video, I demo how to finish the zipper. Merry Christmas to you and your family! xx
Your bestie bag and dress look great ❤
Thank you!!
I love both of your South Bank dresses. I don't have that pattern but am wondering if I could achieve a similar look with the Love Notions Arlington by adding a band at the bottom. Is the bottom band on the south bank a 1:1?
I think that would work. Yes, the band is pretty much a 1:1. There is almost no stretching needed at all.
Just wondering if you think that the Toaster sweater pattern lengthen would be the same as the Southbank? Is there a big difference?
Hmmm... not sure. I don't own the Toaster but from what I've seen, the Toaster is very boxy. The Southbank has shaping at the waist to bring it in a bit.
Is there any other way to make cakes??
LOL I'm with you!! They turn out just fine out of the box!
Hi Izzy, Mad about Patchwork is very close to me! If you ever decide to visit in person let me know, and we could meet up for lunch or something? Janet
I definitely will!!
