At around 41:00, after Judy misses with a 3, can she make it to the kitchen? She has 2 action left, and I thought leaving a space with a ghoul in it costs 1 extra action per ghoul to leave, so unless I'm wrong, she would have made it only to living room. Same with Tom at 47:30.....3 Walkers in kitchen compounds him leaving. Pg 18 of rulebook

@@RollingSolo you also said that once a character moves in a room with a relative his turn ends right away. But at the end ( 42:53)you moved Barbara in the kitchen and let her "take care" of Karen. Was that a mistake too ?
Thanks for the play through - I certainly picked up a couple of useful bits that I had missed / played incorrectly - The main one being I previously discarded the flammable fluid along with the table leg to create a torch - I didn't realise you could share it with another player with a table leg. rather than each having to find the fluid. - That makes a Huge difference. We also set up the open barricades wrong - So next time we play this scene, will pay more attention to that. I also noticed the movement away from zones with ghouls in, which would alter the outcome of this considerably - But even so, it's a great introduction to the game. :)

At least 3 turns - maybe more with far less ghouls than there should have been. We might house rule that you have to discard table leg and fuel to get the torch, as it seems far too powerful to just share it out.
Hi, waiting for part 2 and 3 and whatever... when you get to scene 4 with car is also very nice, there i have some doubts for sure, the driving, the smashing ghouls, the hits our heroes take inside the car or not... etc etc, but i'm loving it, its a quick game, tension ! Nice. 8 in 10 times i go for a last search and the card is the little red girl appears and I loose 1 point/life in the end of the turn, but I keep having faith, ehehehehheh
Fun Video....a couple of house rules I did, besides seeding the spawn zones as you did are, moving the third spawn point to the door zone where a breaker would open the door and window, and I checked win conditions at the end of the ghoul phase rather than immediately during the player turn...it is still somewhat easy but more interesting...If I read the rule right regarding Molotov Cocktails and a Spawn Zone, I think you move the affected spawn zone over to where another spawn zone is located...by moving them to a existing spawn zone, eventually you end up with just one spawn zone with all three tokens present, then they can no longer be moved.
Yep! The spawn zone moves to the next one in order. I like that as it feels like you’re strategically cutting them off. Thanks for sharing your house rules. 😄
@@RollingSolo I do have a question for you regarding multiple spawn zones.. I am presuming you still draw 3 spawn cards even if they are bunched together. So even though you reduced the locations, you can have a major horde appearing.. do you think that's right?
From my understanding every spawn has to have a card pulled. It just helps to keep them concentrated to one side of the board. Otherwise it would be very easy!

Welcome! Glad to have you here. I’d say as long as it has the crowdfunding exclusives than go for it. It’s fun. There are some that don’t like a couple of rules but you can house rule around it as you please. It nails the movies well. Great for this time of year!

Great playthrough! Question though: I thought with this scenario only there was a special rule to ignore the 3xp when discarding the boards token and to just gain the 5xp when using the boards? That would have saved you quite a bit of xp.
Good playthrough, looking forward to seeing more. Couple of correction though, In the first scene when characters discard boards to get barricades they don't receive the 3 xp for doing so. Several times you have characters moving out of rooms with ghouls but that requires an extra action per ghoul to do so. Judy, Helen and Tom all do this though out the playthrough. One final thing, it seems that the ghouls that spawned on the east side of the map would have split right away instead of going through the window first. Don't mean to sound so negative, trying to do commentary on a new game while controlling 6 characters is a feat in its self!

@@RollingSolo I would need to rewatch, because, did you actually discard boards? I thought you saved them for barricades? Boards cannot be discarded because there are only 6 board cards in the deck. Those plus the 5 board tokens are all needed to barricade the 11 windows. Without using all of them, one cannot win.

Play with only 4 to make it harder. Less mitigation too. And for spawning zombies, half what the card says, rounded up.

Hey! The 3xp is a quick fix as I haven’t hit yellow yet. Which characters got 3xp for board cards?
