Just because most WWF matches had less headlocks and less boring rest holds than the matches by Jim Crockett Promotions and its 40 fans sitting in the TBS studio doesn't mean it wasn't good wrestling, WWF had by far the best characters and the most exciting events compared to JCP/NWA.
Fuji was crazy. When he was around, your favourite good guys were in danger from his continual interference from the outside. Second only to Bobby Heenan in my books.
