I always love to see Throes of Chaos being included in decks. It is criminally underrated IMO, even in non-cascade decks.
Being able to always turn dead land draws later in the game into anything else cmc 3 or less from your library is always great. (and do remember, retrace does *_NOT_* exile the card after you retrace it, so you can _keep_ retracing the spell whenever you have a land in hand)

Micah had an equipped Pact weapon so he wouldn't have lost the game by being in negative life (same as Maximus really). That's the whole point of this equipment. Why did he forfeit ? Surely in BW he had answers somewhere in the deck to remove one creature and/or artefact ?

Averna as a 3 color cascade and landfall deck is pretty epic. Cascade is one of my favorite mechanics. Might have to build that one someday

The game actually wouldn't have ended where it did because Pact Weapon being equipped to the Valkyrie meant that Micah wouldn't have lost the game. He also had the mana to pay for the Shard so really it's a race to see who could remove the other piece first.

Micah's despark on Sephara cost them that game, too fast for the use of the orzhov removal, plat was a nice play, but you should have swung him out while you had the chance. Drew, that was the only blue deck, that's the guy u gotta hit!

You can’t pay for extort multiple times per trigger. When you cast a spell you may pay b/w, not b/w x times.
