It looks like he's sitting on a throne similar to the one Kong finds in the hollow earth where he gets the axe. Maybe this "other" Kong is a red herring. They put him in the teaser to create hype and use a different monter for next time, so the villain will remain a mystery until its release. That would be so cool.

I am all for them building their own lore with their own monsters. I don't think i want another toho monsters as the "main" badguy. But if Angurius or something like that shows up in the film to either help or fight against Godzilla and Kong then I will be all for that too. I think a doppelganger like evil Kong is a great idea. We had that with SpaceGodzilla, let Kong get something like that too. Let Kong get his King title.
While king louie could very well be our villain, I do wonder if he's perhaps actually a lorekeeper. Kong and Godzilla eventually run into him and he informs at least Kong of another titan who is actually a massive threat and perhaps is responsible for a previous titan massacre. I just don't really care for the next staring titan to be another ape based one.

I think it could be an adaption of War of the Gargantuas since it is a Toho property. It does look a lot like Sanda.
