- I'm sure many people who follow Japanese idol world have heard of this case. It has been utterly shocking and horrible and I wanted to make a video about it to explain to people who might not have know about it. I tried my best to collect the information. Really didn't think Noe would act like this, sad to see how two faced some people are. The girls making fun of these situations really are sick. I really hope management also starts taking better care of the remaining girls so this won't ever repeat, so sad :(

Clearly, her appearance on pd48 was all an act, being cheerful and funny was a way to climb up rankings, cause she knows she's not that talented nor is she pretty. What a clever and talented actress she is
In this situation, I feel like she doesn’t have a very big position in. You can make a thread of this with me but the main culprit is the entertainment. They literally threw this problem on the backburner and when it went viral, they made her apologize instead making this situation better and handle it. If they handled this problem and pervious problems like this, future problems would be avoided. Many girls in the group are still young and don’t have much time to focus on experiences as Idol life is very busy so comes with them being inexperienced in some life lessons. Since they are under the entertainment’s care, the entertainment should’ve shown them what is right and wrong when a problem/situation arises so they understand.
Nah, she had some tendencies. I felt it when she was in the show. There is something about her and the other ngt girl. They look like they are not in good terms during the show
Maho is (was) such a good vice-captain worrying for her teammates after what happened to her. What did she have to bow down to her attacker? It broke my heart 😭 She deserves much much better. Im happy they are losing so much after what they did to maho, yes! Karma is a bitch! Sashi pls keep making everyone aware of what aks did to maho and friends so aks wont think to do this ever again. Actually i hope my fav girls will graduate soon and take another healthy path because aks is such shady ass

Pinkeu Panda Still, the entertainments did nothing to actually fix the problem. They threw it on the back burner like it didn’t exist. That we could have girls currently clashing with each other but are forced to hide it. Some of girls are really young and barely have any experience with dealing with people they could not really like. The older girls probably with try to advise them but it might not be going through unless someone within the staff says something or something maybe. Not sure but I get what you’re saying.
@@fufu2000_ I think in this case, it was this group's company and management that was the cause of this whole issue. They were notorious in the past for this kind of stuff that it blew up in their face. None of the other girls in 48g had had any issue like this - at least not out in the public.

I have no Idea who these idols are. This I just saw this on RUclips while scrolling. Even so It hurts me to see this. Poor girl had to experience such horror. Glad she escaped but for it to be belittled makes me angry. I hope she's living happily.

been banned for life from participation in any idol groups what so ever? What would of happened if they had killed this poor girl? Sometimes I just don't get this IDOL culture.
From what I know, the men who tried to kidnap her were in jail but were released because of no evidence I believe. They were later taken back into jail months later. I don't know anything after that.
Apparently one of the girls accused has a daddy with MONEY that sponsors the group so that explains one of the members. Not too sure about the other members
I don't understand how they could allow those men to attend their events after they became suspects of assaulting her. Like shouldn't they at least be blacklisted from events to keep them away from her and other members??
Japans law is not quite strong when it come to assaults. Some rape cases even went ignored. They need to empower rule of law and separate the community from Yakuza.

Sadly a lot of AKB girls graduated after PD48. Normally they would stay until age 27-28 but the Korean show made them realize they could sign-on to Kpop companies instead

Kitarie was such a good captain. Sasshi is a really good role model for the girls as well. Truly, the members who were present during AKB48's golden years were the best. They truly care for each other and went in the idol business for sincere reasons. Miss them so much.
I didn't know Ogino Yuka was involved. I only started to take notice of her recently but if she was involved in bullying Maho then I'll just pretend she doesn't exist from now on.
SaveMeMoon No one knows exactly how she is involved, the disappointing part is her support to the girls that are obviously involved. Like it can be her friends but if they did something wrong or even if they didn’t, she pretty much gave her support to the attackers instead of the victim, that’s when her moral decision went wrong. Some of her social media posts are super concerning too, it’s either she is too naive to see it or idek... it’s disappointing honestly

To be honest, it was rather suspicious that she got 1st two year in a row in preliminary results of 48 Group annual sousenkyo. Against popular senior members such as Jurina and Sashi ( Jurina is basically Sakae city' daughter and Sashi, well... Let's say she has a lot of fan with big pocket 😂 , she really does, one of the reasons why she's the Queen for three years straight. )
But still, japan and aks should not sleep on this matter. Women are being silenced in japan. This makes me angry as much as takeuchi's screen time on akb48. There were already 3 (or more) cases like these which where much much much worse. How are they so heartless.

Oh my gosh I hope Maho will get the justice that she deserve, while her attackers and people who bully and leak her address will receive punishment, Noe is such a cutie in pd48 and I really like her, seriously didn't expect that she actually has such a rotten heart if all the speculation is true, I'm so disappointed. idk if you'll see this but here are few updates on the case. (warning now, im illiterate and hate revising)
1. should be noted that yukirin (a 48g veteran, og member) cancelled her kennin with the group after 3-4 years
2. at the graduation concert they performed this song (i think by team 8) and it's a really deep song. A few kenkyuusei performed with her and from what i read at the end the other members are supposed to hold up(or something idk basically show support) the protaganist/center (maho) but for the performance she was left standing alone.
3. Some trainees from ngt attended and performed at the grad concert
4. i think sasshi was also there
5. multiple ngt members have removed ngt from their bios over the period of the case (including riko and renapon pre graduation announcement, some kenkyuuseis and other team g members). Two kenkyuusei who removed ngt and attended the grad con, handed in the resignation letters a few days ago
6. Rena and Maho have signed onto new companies
7. Kitarie's first post on her twitter about ngt since the break of the case was a recent photo with renapon (personal observation)
8. And now for the best one, Kato Minami, captain of ngt (specifically handed to her by kitarie herself) post a photo of a tv broadcasting news in regards to maho's cases with the caption "im doing my nails over here. i wish someone would change the chaannel." onto her insagram story. She later stated that the post was meant for private account and was later demoted to kenkyuusei (making her the first captain to be demoted to kenkyuusei in akbg history). It should be noted that katomina has been an on the fence member (at least for me). Although holding the captain title she made no effort to show support for mahohon compared to other members who sneakily left kind messages to show support (including team g captain). Another member even made a post directly calling out a suspected member by name (pretty sure it was katomina) so it was quite disappointing that the captain couldnt even pull through. Even when the news first broke, once ngt members regained social media control she immediately began promoting her upcoming magazine feature (similarly ogiyuka began promoting for ssk, which got cancelled).
9. All ngt members are on probation from social media thanks to their lovely captain's wise actions.
hopefully i dint miss anything. do note this was done based off of memory (and rage) so somethings may be inaccurate. I was a huge fan of ngt so needless to say this entire situation really took a toll on me. I really hope that this issue gets resolved resolved but from what it seems justice will not be served only media plays and cover ups. Please dont let this die what so ever

Behind closed doors something else is happening that we most likely don’t know. I of course don’t know about NGT48 as much as other people but to me, I think Noe and Maho weren’t exactly friends friends from what I have seen and read but more of okayish terms with each other so I think Noe might not be wanting to do anything from outside the closed door but might be doing something closed doors that aren’t being said. I really like Noe and since hearing her story, always respected her.

K ZIPP I literally watched the video where Noe laughed alongside Ayaka for Maho’s weight loss due to stress caused by the assault and then they started to laugh how their former manager was harassed and Noe even wrapped Ayaka with duct tape to mock their manager! She may not have leaked the address of Maho’s appartement but there is a video showing how ignorant she is and that she thinks what happend to Maho is funny!

Recently, someone was arrested for commiting a crime on = Love (Sasshi's idol group) I forgot what the crime was but it was said that the one who was arrested was the same person on Maho's case. Sasshi then told the media about how she would take care of her girls unlike AKS. It's quite amazing actually, I wish only the best for Maho, that must've been traumatizing :(

This is why I love the 2006-2012 AKB era and why I’ll always favorite the 2nd-9th Gen members who are currently still in the group (Including Jurina) because they had such good role models from the 1st-3rd Gen, Like: Takamina, Acchan, Yuuko, Sayaka, Sae, Mariko and many more. Because 1st-3rd Gen had struggled and fought their way for public recognition for years before the group finally took off. So they taught their kouhais through their past experiences the knowledge, class, the level of expectations, sisterhood and drive they need to survive the idol industry. Matsui Jurina is a great product of the 1st-3rd Gen’s leadership. Because she demonstrates what she was taught to any member from SKE and AKB. The selfless team leader, striving for perfection but creating a fun and enjoyable environment not just for fellow members but for the audience as well. Also shit like this wouldn’t happen when they were around. Because of the 1st-3rd Gen, AKB is such a well known brand now that they made it soo much easier for the newer members to have exposure.
So this drama with NGT, is sickening and it breaks my heart because it really shows how different the management and the girls are now. Because it’s now all a power play, who’s got bigger game or investment than the rest of the girls. What’s Better for face and value. If the speculations of member involvement and bullying are true (Which I think they are true) then that means at this point in time, the member of NGT responsible didn’t even get punished. Not by Police or management. That why I feel like this group should have had a stopping point. Like idk. It’s like the management and the girls don’t care anymore. And it’s just they’re in it for some popularity gains and that’s it. It really sucks.
let me add some 10-12th gen members that were part of original team4. yeah those were the good times. after paru and harugon graduated, i only take a peek every now and then for graduations and to see if there's any news on yuiri. sadly, there's not much but man her solo con was so beautiful. i think jurina said last year that she wants to do a solo con. let's hope that happens

nsmx1 OH YES, the OG Team 4, completely forgot about them. Yeah, definitely would include them in. And I do the same. I usually just check in an see who has graduated, usually waiting to see if Yukirin, Minegishi, Jurina or anyone else I knew from the group graduated. But I’m still surprised that Minegishi and Yukirin are still in it.
I stopped caring about AKB48 after Oshima Yuko graduation she will always be my best girl.
But then , when Jurina try to teach the others girl, she got mocked and bullied online.
Thank You for Sharing this story, I am Not a Fan of any of these groups but respect their hard work. To read a Situation and hear theirs prior cases makes me very angry. This could be a bigger problem in Idol industry and Thanks to Yamaguchi Maho its now being heard of. Cases like these makes me wonder if Personal Protection/Body Guards are allowed, Selected by the Girls of course. If you are a Fan of these Girls or other Idols Please respect them as Artist they are not a part of your Fantasy and that comment is more pointed to those like the Criminals. I know very well theirs many questionable fans in Idol groups for the wrong reason.

I've been following this since it happened, and I *was* a Noe stan.
When the first even happened (Noe laughing about the losing weight joke) I still tried to be calm, maybe she didn't know she was referring to Maho. But then, the only manager that tried to defend Maho was speculated to be involved in an assault with duck tape because of that, the manager quit, and the very next day Noe says something like "Mrs. (Name of the manager) quit... Today let's play with duck tape". And then she defended the girls involved. I can not believe she's not at least part of the bullying.
Maho was really brave to speak about it and I'm really happy that the media (except Shuukan Bunshun, that seems to have connection with the culprits) defended her, lot of people in Japan wanted justice, no mater if they were wotas or didn't care about idols.
Also, shout out to Sashihara Rino, who said that since she had a voice (she's been for years a very important member of AKB) she had to talk about this to help make justice, and she actually did as much as she could to help Maho in the media.

@@prate7517 Yup that’s my view as well. Ayaka and Marina are the main suspects when it comes to leaking the information of Maho. For Bullying, it is Noe and Katomina. So far, Ogiyuka was just associated since she is friends with these girls and said nothing about Maho yet she is more heated by people than Ayaka and Marina

It doesn't feel like an actual assault/rape attempt, it seems more like a prank or publicity stunt gone horribly wrong (which could explain why AKS was so adamant about keeping it quiet and why they would have the perpetrators there for her apology). They heard the sound of the elevator and instead of closing the door and silencing her, they ran like frightened kittens? Wouldn't real criminals just shut the door and silence her? She knew at least one of the guys by sight so how, short of murder, were they going to keep her from informing the police?

I'm not NGT fans but I do know how Japanese showbiz (or Japan in general) works around cases like this: pretend it never happened, or the victim shouldn't make a big deal out of it.
