- Iflights new macro quad Chimera 9" comes as analog, so i tossed in the good ol' dji air unit ;)
Theres something familiar about this frame. Motors are 2809 1250kv same as Chimera 7 v2 pro" wonder how it stacks up against ,Brotherhobby 2816 1050kv.

Its something i made on my own. so no link sorry. Still needs some fine tuning on it to be just right.
So the frame is chimera 7 pro with long arms for 9 inch props... nice man

Hehe sure is. But it wasnt as big as I thought it would be. Maybe because its deadcat frame,dunno. BUT I think i want to step up a bigger size then this. Need to find a perfect size for my project.
Hi, do xing 2809 1250kv pull 9 inch propeller's?
yupp, i whana try 3110 1250kv just because im curiose. i just wished the arms were little bit thicker
@@Just4FunRC Simply, the documentation says that xing is only up to 8 inch prop, won't the motors get bad?
@@f1in4eck noticed that myself. and few days after this vid. the chimera 9" didnt appear on theire main site. respons was that theire out of stock. But what im thinking this was just fast flip and grab. with few tweeks it could been better. Maybe we will see another version later on.
my self im gonna try with the 3110 1250 or 900kv the potensial is there.
this is a cruiser so you wont go amp peak. but with just a 5000mah lipo it felt underpowered little sluggish. but that can also be different from pilot to pilot

Hia jib :D were doing great! with a new kiddo almost 6months old now ;) (biggest reason i took a pause from youtube) along with house rebuilding. i was hardly getting anytime to relax and do hobby stuff hehe. Doing side hustle with car decals, pressing clothing merchs for clients. just to earn few extra bucks.
but its starting to get settled now. i even get to sleep 4h a day :D. Also i was asked to do a vid shot but for that i needed to build 2 drones just for that session XD. they are ready for maiden flight.
@@Just4FunRC congratulations on new edition to you family. Yeah all that you doing is a very very busy life plus you need time for your self as if not things can gone downhill. Glad you got house all sorted and stuff. You & family and the new little one stay safe ok.

Hia. Just had a maiden test, didnt blew up 😆 forgot to do the osd so nothing on it. I just had few min before the Rain started again. Gonna keep you posted on this:)

Nope, clean view :) and along with the org dji cam its perfect. So happy i bought a few of those cams.
Actually same motors as chimera7 v2 just longer arms
for the first 9" gen yes. they are now selling an eco version of it.
