Obviously people need to do their own research about things they consume it seemed tone deaf to advertise the movie in a light hearted way. But, I also agree about how society needs to relax on their para social relationships.
Yeah I think this is the biggest issue. I saw a video of this woman who watched movie, didn't know that DV was a main subject, and she was quite upset about it. And I can understand why she would be, but I also think the internet fucks themselves over by making mediocre talents like blake lively so popular. She's literally just a pretty face, not much else.
I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which means my body doesn't make collagen properly and it affects pretty much every body system. All the collagen products make me lol. Sure would be nice if I could help my myriad problems by swallowing collagen or smearing it all over myself!
As a fair, cool toned lady, I also would benefit from a pale purple color adjuster because even though I do not have a light olive complexion, things still look orange on me very frequently.

The molecule is much too large to penetrate the skin and boost collagen levels. It is, however, a really great moisturizer. It will moisturize the hell out of your skin in the moment.

Those collagen supplements that are always being touted don't boost collagen in terms of the collagen you eat going to your skin. Your body breaks the collagen down into its building blocks, and those get into the rest of your body (no idea where/how exactly). Your body then sees all these collagen bits and thinks that your naturally occurring collagen is breaking down at an unnaturally fast rate. It then kicks your own collagen production into a little bit of an overdrive. So they do work, just not in the way they claim to.
The lightest shade in the naked palette is the most gorgeous inner corner highlight. None of the swatches give off what the actual palette does. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with at least 2 of those colors

I just purchased the RMS powder and it is fabulous. I am in my 60’s and it is the best I’ve used so far. And I do not have to reapply. Mind you, it is 100 degrees here and 80% humidity. Love your channel Kackie!❤❤❤

I love using the Clinque powder foundation as my bronzer/contour. We are very close skin twins. With the powder foundation you're able to get a couple shades darker than your skin tone and still have the correct undertone. It just looks so good this way imo.
I don't know but learning that Mario is actually super wholesome makes me happy because damn seeing someone famous being wholesome & not actually questionable is a change. I don't wear perfume usually because I'm just super sensitive to scent, but like the 7 virtues vanilla has me wanting to buy it because it smells so good

Vieve, I would recommend the eye shadow sticks and the liquid blush. I also have a face palette of hers which I think might be discontinued, but I love, its the only one I have ever seen where I like every shade, a bronzer, highlight, peachy blush and neutral rose blush. It's my perfect travel palette.
I love Vieve, i would say, the glittery lip oil is a bit too chunky for me (you can feel the glitter) but the Rosa lip oil is a dream. i also love skin nova, the lip liners, the setting spray and the Rosa powder blush-although this can hard pan. Haven’t tried the concealer as i think it will be too thick for my crusty face, this is the reason I wouldn’t used the powder either. I wouldn’t say its dry skin friendly. I use the skin dew for my body as it’s a tad too dark for my pasty skin. I like the eyeshadows (i think the essentials pallet would be your vibe and or the shadow sticks-which need to be set) but the glitters are very subtle and soft- which i personally like but worth noting if you’re expecting super sparkly shadows. The mascara is lovely but can smudge and the eyeliner pen, which you probably wont buy, is fantastic but make sure the lid is pushed properly on or will dry out in about 30 seconds. Oh and the brushes are fantastic. Hope that helps in any way shape or form.

I’m the meme of the puppet giving side eye because I have the original Naked palette and haven’t thrown it away. I’d also be lying if I said I hadn’t used it in the past year. It smells fine and works just as well as it did new. Someone did a lab test trying to grow bacteria from an old powder palette and nothing grew on it. If my eyes even itched when I wore it I would have thrown the palette out.
Powders tend to last a lot longer than other products because the lack of moisture makes it harder for bacteria and fungi to grow. Of course it's best to be safe and I won't be encouraging you to keep using it... But I also won't encourage you to throw it away 😂
The Chantecaille palette is pretty, but the most beautiful and unusual shade is arriving shattered for many people...including me. I wish you could see it/feel it, because I bet you would be able to find us all a better dupe!

I'm going to disagree on the Cali Ray blush. I just don't think it's for your skin. I have textured skin and the only blush I can find that blurs is Rare beauty liquid blush matte shades (there are 3 and they aren't great colors). There is nothing like this on the market. Powder can't achieve the same effect.
Kackie, Jamie was right when she said we want to see your opinion on the I Need a Warm palette! I’ve been eyeing the Golden and Nude and haven’t been able to decide, so this new release has thrown me for a loop. You obviously have educated thoughts on color and texture, so when comparing an aggregate of 45 different shades of brown you’re really the expert. I’m super interested to know your thoughts on which eye color and skin tones could benefit most from each palette, which pallets have the most unique shades/finishes, which one is most appropriate for day/work vs event, etc. Not lying I’m going to be stalking your channel until the video comes out 😂 love your thoughts!
Topical collagen is ONLY a moisturizer. The collagen molecule is too large to actually penetrate the barrier. It sits on top of the skin and can't effect change where it would be needed.
RMS has never been known for their shade range as you know. As you pointed out, and the models eyes tried to tell us, she’s not wearing the sunscreen tint 😂! I always wonder why the deepest shade often has a crimson or a purple undertone?. Btw your boyfriend seems to have a brilliant sense of humour - love the sign😂! 💕

I get what you're saying about Replica but By The Fireplace is in my rotation and it's my comfort scent. It's also my cat's comfort scent; she will groom my sweater where the perfume is sprayed. I'd hate to buy it as a room scent though as I'd become accustomed to it and it would disappear from my ability to enjoy it anymore.
The Blake thing is annoying because it’s a case of people reacting based on their lack of knowledge. She produced the film. She’s entitled to call for edits. That’s why director’s cuts are a thing. But people are actually mad that she exerted that control? It’s how literally every movie gets made. Why do I need the Need A Warm palette? Because I do.
Aren't people more annoyed that she exerted control in a way that downplayed the theme of DV so that it could feel more like a romance? And that some of her comments throughout her marketing interviews have downplayed DV? I agree it's her right to do whatever she wants if she's co-producer. But the public is also allowed to not like when a story about something quite serious is co-opted and suddenly people are told to "Grab your girlfriends and wear your florals".
@@kackie I agree that we shouldn't put celebrities on pedestals. But I don't think that's what's gone wrong in this case. Rather, a producer of a film has marketed a film in a way which deemphasizes the main theme. Consumers are vocalizing why they don't want to go see the movie, or why they're disappointed in the marketing strategy. It's no different than not buying makeup from a brand due to poor behavior by the owners, or making a commentary video on makeup releases and marketing decisions. If they need to log off because you think they're too upset about an issue that actually matters, then makeup commentary videos definitely shouldn't exist.

Okay SO, MAC Fix+ is not a setting spray and does not extend the wear of your makeup. What it is though is a finishing spray. What why is it called Fix+? WELL back in the 90's people loved matte powder foundation and everyone wore studio fix powder, but it always looked better after a couple hours of wear! I got the new Naked palette and I am loving it! It is like the original and I have missed it from my life…it is the perfect palette for me.

I'm a light, desaturated olive. I just bought a purple mixer on Amazon for less than $9.00. Nobody needs to spend $$$ on YSL for a mixer. :)

I'm going to disagree on the Cali Ray blush. I just don't think it's for your skin. I have textured skin and the only blush I can find that blurs is Rare beauty liquid blush matte shades (there are 3 and they aren't great colors). There is nothing like this on the market. Powder can't achieve the same effect.
Kackie, Jamie was right when she said we want to see your opinion on the I Need a Warm palette! I’ve been eyeing the Golden and Nude and haven’t been able to decide, so this new release has thrown me for a loop. You obviously have educated thoughts on color and texture, so when comparing an aggregate of 45 different shades of brown you’re really the expert. I’m super interested to know your thoughts on which eye color and skin tones could benefit most from each palette, which pallets have the most unique shades/finishes, which one is most appropriate for day/work vs event, etc. Not lying I’m going to be stalking your channel until the video comes out 😂 love your thoughts!

Topical collagen is ONLY a moisturizer. The collagen molecule is too large to actually penetrate the barrier. It sits on top of the skin and can't effect change where it would be needed.
RMS has never been known for their shade range as you know. As you pointed out, and the models eyes tried to tell us, she’s not wearing the sunscreen tint 😂! I always wonder why the deepest shade often has a crimson or a purple undertone?.

As an old, I know what niacinamide does!! It keeps my laser treatments from reversing back to Melasmatown. I get what you're saying about Replica but By The Fireplace is in my rotation and it's my comfort scent. It's also my cat's comfort scent; she will groom my sweater where the perfume is sprayed. I'd hate to buy it as a room scent though as I'd become accustomed to it and it would disappear from my ability to enjoy it anymore.

The Blake thing is annoying because it’s a case of people reacting based on their lack of knowledge. She produced the film. She’s entitled to call for edits. That’s why director’s cuts are a thing. But people are actually mad that she exerted that control? It’s how literally every movie gets made. Why do I need the Need A Warm palette? Because I do.

Aren't people more annoyed that she exerted control in a way that downplayed the theme of DV so that it could feel more like a romance? And that some of her comments throughout her marketing interviews have downplayed DV? I agree it's her right to do whatever she wants if she's co-producer. But the public is also allowed to not like when a story about something quite serious is co-opted and suddenly people are told to "Grab your girlfriends and wear your florals".
Yeah the whole thing hits me like everyone is trying to keep a woman in her lane and I get the sexism icks from it.
@@kackie I agree that we shouldn't put celebrities on pedestals. But I don't think that's what's gone wrong in this case. Rather, a producer of a film has marketed a film in a way which deemphasizes the main theme. Consumers are vocalizing why they don't want to go see the movie, or why they're disappointed in the marketing strategy. It's no different than not buying makeup from a brand due to poor behavior by the owners, or making a commentary video on makeup releases and marketing decisions. If they need to log off because you think they're too upset about an issue that actually matters, then makeup commentary videos definitely shouldn't exist.
I dunno, I get what you are saying, but I'm also more mad that she's promoting her brands during a DV movie press tour, or naming drinks after the abusive character. If it was a legitimate meet cute romcom I wouldn't mind. But the fact that It Ends with Us is so much about Domestic Violence it seems...odd to me

Okay SO, MAC Fix+ is not a setting spray and does not extend the wear of your makeup. What it is though is a finishing spray. What why is it called Fix+? WELL back in the 90's people loved matte powder foundation and everyone wore studio fix powder, but it always looked better after a couple hours of wear! So in order to accelerate that process and getting looking that way immediately, Fix + was born! Thank you for coming to my TED talk ❤

Jen Luv did some research on collagen (off the top of my head I cant remember her sources though) and you are correct, the molecule is too big to penetrate. Collagen is just a humectant
