    The issue is that you use a thin wall USA-style lug.
    The dies are designed for the thicker walled Euro-style lugs.

    These press pliers are designed for single-core wire, and the space in the sleeve itself must be completely filled with single-core copper wire.

    I Agree 100% with Richard, as an Electrican we always use "Cabac" branded Electrical Lugs. A much longer crimp area, much thicker sidewall & the lug bolt face is also thicker. Some of those chinese cheap lugs blow big time. 👎🤢🤮😁

      I use a vice and grip the back of the crimper with the jaws facing up :)

    use 16 mm for 25mm2 gauge wire. Works better this way.

      Machine works great he is using a thin wall lug usually used for soldering if he had used a thick wall lug he would not have had that problem
