Fantastic video! I was there myself for a week a few years ago, and rode that same helicopter (or one like it). It was the most beautiful life-changing experience. I was the “chef“ during that time. I got to know the kitchen very well. Richard is a indeed an amazing human being. Also, that underbelly you were walking on was about 10 times more dangerous when I was down there. They’ve done a lot of work since I’ve been there. Keep up the great work!

This is my favorite type of video with Nick. Just him, his survival gear, and showing his skills/ abilities and chatting with us. It’s been a while from when he did this kinda stuff all the time. (But it is dangerous to a degree so like I see why he doesn’t go out alone much anymore. Like that was a lot of sharks man.)
Edit: you can tell it’s been a bit cuz I remember when he got that smoker and used it the first time. Look how rusty it is and how he forgot a bit of how to use it haha.
Richard is the definition of make the most out of everything. The fact that he’s on a remote “island” by himself, doing crazy things, having fun, and just chillin is what everyone dreams of doing when they’re older

That mystery boat was probably a cutter, because cutters have weapons on them and they're normally gray and they kinda look like fishing vessels, that's why I think that mystery vessel is a cutter.

He doesnt live on site, and there are lots of volunteers there bi weekly for restoration. Check out the site.
That's actually an incredibly rude thing to say. He lives a life full of adventure and has a whole family and multiple interests. This visit seemed fun but definitely didn't 'make his life' Also, hes the literal owner of this tower and he had all the fireworks and equipment, so it probably was more fun for the guys than him.

If you take a look at their website, between people staying there for accommodation and week-long volunteer sessions where people come out to stay and do upkeep and restoration work on the place, he'd pretty much need to live there permanently.

As a sailor myself, we do not launch life boats during drills in such adverse swells in sea. This is truely insane because if a man goes overboard the chances of him being saved is 3%

I’m terrible at sitting outside because well I cannot build shelters because I don’t have an ax but I love all your videos you make so much and it’s in a really like the budget the budget challenges they’re really cool and I like how they turn out.

It doesn’t seem like the world’s most dangerous hotel because at least this hotel seems livable and has someone like Richard who knows so much and has experience living there. You can cook, play and sleep in a decent place there. Really way better than the “dangerous lighthouse” in your other video.
