I'm glad I stumbled upon your vids cuz I decided not to do revature based on yours since it sounds crazy stressful. Ended up doing FDM and while it hasn't been a walk in the park, I'm almost finished with training and it's gone really well so far
I joined Revature, thanks to Kaits videos I was ready. From the hood with an degree, they trained me with invaluable experience. Granted, i also pushed myself. Basically, if you can figure it out, go for it.
Also have a degree, but still 🎉 I don't think I'd be where I was soo soon (3 months) and about to bank. Sorry for anyone who is didn't work out for. It's not for everyone
Jeez, this company has some major balls to be such a low quality option & require a degree. They're not providing equipment, it sounds like they pay hourly, they sound like they micromanage alot. Yeah, thank you for the information. I'm going to reject this recruiter, I couldn't be bothered. This was really useful in my decision making process. The information you provided is simply the truth so sorry if my tone is negative. The information you're providing is very high quality but their expectations are just purely delusional.
@@scrotiemcboogerballs2133 I wish I knew of any but i don't. I would say try to get clients on upwork but it's saturated and I'm not sure it's worth it so I haven't even tried.
Excited to hear the details about your return to tech. I am a bootcamp grad with 2YOE who got laid off in feb and have been unable to get a job since despite putting in over 600 applications, I've gotten 3 interviews out of all of that. I was heavily considering Revature but couldn't get over the thought "what's the sense in going to another bootcamp when I've already completed one?" It just didn't feel right. That being said I really have no idea how to navigate this market, so I've looking forward to seeing how you made it work!
Hey I’m in a very similar situation. I might even be more f’d than you lol. Just graduated with my CS degree but have 0 experience or internships in the field. I have been applying since March. I think I’m going to bite the bullet and enroll cause at least I’m certain that it will lead me somewhere. Cause the more I get turned down, the closer I’m getting to being put on suicide watch lol. This stuff is not fun whatsoever
I have taken an assessment after they put me on unpaid training for 11 weeks. they're saying that we will keep you in paid training based on your performance. why did they give me this unpaid training? will they give me a chance for full-time after my unpaid training?

I can confirm that Revature will hire General Studies Associate Degree graduates at least as of Summer 2022

Just want to note that on Revature's website it states "You must have an associate’s degree or higher to work for Revature."

You have to complete the unpaid training then pass and assessment and interview to move on to paid training.

It depends on the employer/client.
Did you sign the contract before the training or after the training?
You signed the contract and later you will receive a call about time to start your pay training on that day.
Revature contract is signed before training.

Yes, training has been 100% remote since 2020.
