Hi mate since your country invaded my country under name of helping us with other 40 nato countries i left my country not knowing where am i going.but once we got to patra stayed there 2months then we found a flat port truck which carries container or tanker from one port to others.it had a box between the 2 axles and no1 knew about it.fewfreind we marked it but it would come every 2 weeks with maitland ship finlay my turn came up and i got in the unit atached the truck took it in ship and i could see drive puting chain on wheels.had a nap and got to itlay.dint have no plan which country to go.but ended in uk.but i was better in my country had a buisness at young age now am only a driver like you.if uk usa and nato stop messing about with peoples life nd countrie we wouldnt have been here.those young men has more gutts than any of u.i dont say help them but atleast feel for them no1 wants to flee their homeland.my heart is still in afghanistan after 22years.for the memory of those days i typed patra and ur video came up and thanks for the video.we all human ❤
Why not get a couple of those dc to dc converters and put 50kV on those container handles... and while you are at it, install a camera for the highly entertaining video of the immigrants loosing their lunch and/or sheit while trying to open the trailer...
Done the crossing many times in the nineties bari to patras used to travel through Yugoslavia prior to the war to get to Greece or turkey traveling through Italy was far safer I thought ...Dam things have changed so much good old day have long gone in this industry

when I coming in Patras , nobody had dashcam or mobil phone !!!!! and was there thousenden immigrants ! it is not a problem of this time , bud many years before !!!!!

Hi there, I have no idea about the cost of the ferry as it's paid by the company. As for the 24hours there is an onboard swimming pool a cheap bar and even a resident hooker !!! For those inclined but as with most truckers it's food shower and sleep that's top of the agenda.
Ok cool. Here in the US we don't have ferries to deal with. It's mainly just trying to find a place to park that's some what safe and not expensive as hell. Thanks for the response. After my kids are grown it is like to try trucking in other countries
Unfortunately the eastern block drivers have driven the wages down and the days of the owner drivers has gone. It is only the specialist companies that survive. The ferries are apart of life in Europe, travelling though Scandinavia is a ferry every day a cross the fjords . If you have seen my other vids the long one ' A winters tale covers a lot of Norway.....

Why on earth are the trucks not locked then?
Most had to be opened for inspection by customs, we always double padlocked ours.
