कांग्रेस महासचिव संचार प्रभारी जयराम रमेश ने केंद्र सरकार पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि "जिस तरह से ED, CBI, IT का दुरुपयोग मोदी सरकार द्वारा हुआ वह पहले कभी नहीं हुआ था... प्रधानमंत्री ने खुद भाषण में कहा कि टेम्पो में काले धन की बोरी लेकर अडानी और अंबानी कांग्रेस पार्टी के दफ्तर पहुंचते हैं तो उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई क्यों नहीं हो रही?... प्रतिशोध के लिए इन संस्थाओं का दुरुपयोग हो रहा है"।
