I don't know why but ever since I first heard this song in the 1980's it makes me cry. Every time I see the clouds crossing the Moon, I start singing this song. Love it. This video is sort of cool. Graphics are good and put together well, the lip sinks could be better. I love the styles that appear. This song is definitely under-rated, especially when you look at what technology was around in the 1980's, early electronic sounds... keep on singing babe xxx

i think i know why this song resonates with me so much.
imagine falling in love with someone but due to circumstances out of your control that person leaves to a far away place. you cant call them or have any means of contact with them.
you never get to see them again, you wouldn't know if they are still alive, you cant feel that joy in your life that they alone could give you.

🎼 I was turning 17 years old going to Senior High when this song was hitting the UK chart in early 1985 - I would request the song on selected days on the local cable radio station REDIFFUSION when my favourite DJ as doing the morning shift starting at 6 am - and she would happily obliged (though she'd play Sorry Doesn't Make It Anymore at times) . I would then dash out of the house to catch the public bus to ride to school by 6.15 am - feeling superb for the rest of the day with the tune of the song in my head. 🎵🎶

Wow! This futuristic video match the song perfectly 2024! I heard this song for the first time on a sunny summer morning in 1985 and the video then was very coloured by the 80s.
AI, in terms of video things, is distant from bringing what we really want, but I liked the concept and enjoyed the video. We all deserve something like Sora, for free! :D Ignore trashy comments, the video is good, and although it has some strange graphical transitions, it's still cool anyway. I love that "SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive" feelings since the first time I listened to this song. Very sad lyrics, though.
