Why am I rewatching? After all the yearning they went through The hesitation, her eyes slowly closing and her hand letting go of her bag and tiptoeing to hold onto him. The eye contact in between the kisses, him holding her face with a tender hand as if enjoying the most delectable and cherished treat. At first slow then daring, shy then hungry… The tension holding the viewers in the main leads world wondering what in the chemistry of dramaland just happened.
What is impressive about her acting is her eyes. Those eyes convey different emotions that pinched my heart. I have never stanned any K-drama actress before until I watched her in Lovely Runner. 💖
HyeYoon’s expressions are so nuanced. You can see all the minute/subtle changes of emotions on her face. She is really an amazing actress. It’s through her expressions of feelings that get us pulled-in into the story. Lovely Runner is her experiences of trying to save the man she loves, and her perseverance to do whatever it takes including her sacrifice to not be remembered by Songjae but fate keeps intervening. And HyeYoon certainly allowed us to feel what she went through with her masterclass of acting and roller coaster of emotions. The story sort of reflect HyeYoon and WooSeok’s personal story where fate seemed to have pulled them towards each other. Many cross paths but never connecting until LR. They both have great chemistry, and did an excellent job with this drama. I hope they have another collab bc you just can’t waste all that chemistry.😉🫠👏🏽🔥🙌🏽🥰
I'm so happy for all those people who watched it for the 1st time. I wish I can erase my memory, so I can watch it again with the same mindest -> zero expectation, then get's blown away by that gem of a drama. Truly one of the best! And the kiss... 🤌!

This is actually the best sequence of love confession-passion-kiss I’ve seen in Kdrama. I felt so shy cos it felt so real. The stares into each others eyes. The mixed feeling of intense lust and intense love. So balanced, yet so extreme. It’s sooo😭😭😭❤

It’s not only their chemistry and acting, but the director did well in editing, there were at least 4 angles of this scene and it was put together realistically that you really get sucked into their emotions for each other.
This scene gets a standing ovation, they are just magnificent. Side note: while I was watching "Crash Landing on You" I said to my daughters "Those two have connected beyond their roles, I bet that they will date and even get married." Fast forward a few years later and my Crash Landing leads are now married with a baby 😎 I haven't had that feeling again while watching a drama, that is until I watched Lovely Runner. Again my feeling is that these two have connected beyond their roles and they will be together in real life. They are staring into each other's souls and it leaps off the screen I hope that I can revisit this comment in the future and brag how I predicted their happily ever after . 🙏🙏🙏💞💞💞💞💞

I really loved this confession from Sol. She just burst out her feelings and longingness for Sunjae even though this might change their fate after. I was so glad she finally chose to free her feelings in this timeline. Sunjae’s chase & lil confrontation with Sol + the tension between them + Sol initiating the kiss to confirm her feelings for him - everything about this scene shows how the writers made them humanly as possible. And oh both of them really ate (each other) in this kissing scene 🤭 If only this timeline was longer & went off well but anyway we got the best lovely ending for them!

Glad netflix subscribers are able to watch this!! So good! Personally I prefer this series over Queen of Tears cuz it’s more lighthearted while QoT little bit more serious and at times I feel the episode went little long and they were long episodes (1hr 30min)
