@@colin6603 I completely disagree, the amount of time and effort Zac put into this role, all the physical training and research he did on Kevin & the family history to prepare for this role proves that he is a very dedicated actor. And many of his past co-stars have said he is very dedicated & hardworking. Even the real Kevin has complimented Zac and said Zac knew alot about him because he did the research on him and his family. Zac also did all of his own stunts in the movie, he did not use any stunt double, he did everything himself, all the wrestling stuff you see in the movie are real, they were all performed by the actors themselves.

even though Zac did not meet Kevin personally during filming, but he did alot of research into Kevin and his family history to prepare for the role. Sometimes actors won’t meet with the people they are portraying for fear of picking up on what they are like now, rather than what they might have been like in the past. For instance, Jamie Fox didn’t want to meet with Ray Charles because the Ray Charles he would be meeting with was in his 70’s. And Fox was playing him in his younger years. I can’t say for sure why Zac and Eric didn’t meet up, but just wanted to offer some possible reasoning.

Excellent movie. In a climate of a bunch of remakes and shitty action films, The Iron Claw is a heart breaking family drama and character study. If you have a chance to watch it, please do. It'll make you call your family on a whim.

Pro Wrestling is fake but the pains are real. I salute all the pro wrestlers who did horrible things to their body and risk their lives to entertain us.
Interestingly what do they is mostly for kids and teenagers.

The career progression of Zac Effron is something else to watch; you see many dudes in hollywood turning into female skirt wearing figs but Effron started from gay high school musical to a wrestling film, that's impressive

@@meesteranonymous8177 how do I get there? I've been watching wrestling since the late 80's and it's literally a bunch of oiled up jacked dudes in their underwear having a play fight and cuddling each other. And now, a bunch of oiled up jacked girls doing it too

@@NJTRAF i guess that's a different perspective, i started watching in late 90s and if it wasn't maneuvers i was focusing on it was the drama like Ministry Undertaker's cult or SCSA's rebellion or mankind's suicidal issues and the list goes on as well as the eventual comedies
i honestly don't enjoy the women division nowadays, seems too much larping and uninteresting drama to me and the rhea character annoys me too much. They can't compare to divinely beautiful Torrie Wilson diva days

I wanted to love that movie,WCCW was my childhood. But that little squidget playing Kerry,Kerry getting into the motorcycle accident the night he won The NWA title . They had Geno Hernadez and Bruiser Brody tag teaming. Fritz being against selling the company. Watching all this made my head want to explode. Then that ridiculous scene after Kerry killed himself?
