You need to move you wrist just a little bit (several times) while downshifting to "make" that kind of crackle.

I rode one today in my driving school unexpectedly. I noticed my teacher was riding a Yamaha MT-07, I was watching that lovely big back tire and wondered what bike it was, then I noticed.
I asked him how the bike is, and he said it's alright but a little bit small for me, while I was riding their BMW 650 GS 2012 with 35KW. Then. After a main street he turned to a side street and parked the bike. I thought we were going to talk about the electronics and stuff, but he didn't turn off the bike.... thats when I realised, IM ABOUT TO RIDE A FUCKING YAMAHA MT-07 BOII!!!!! :D :D :D
It was the best feeling and I instantly fell in love with it! I watched earlier videos of it and I always loved the sound, but the bike faded away from my mind thinking I would never be able to ride one or get one. But when I RODE IT.... AND WHEN I HEARD THE PRICE TAG... I'm getting one!! >:D

What are you quick shifter settings? I just installed it on my 2021 MT07 and the sensor threshold is only reading 40% when shifting, is that normal?

Is it worth buying the quickshifter? i really want one for my mt 07
Yes it is. Makes the bike fun at low speeds, keeps temps down as I have no desire to rev out every gear. But if your planning on selling the bike soon I would wait. Probably set you back 4-600 including install if you dont do it yourself.
Get the mt09 I upgraded from the mt07 to the mt09sp after 1 year the 07 gets very boring with sound and quickness and speed, the mt09sp Pisses all over it in every possible way

Yes you need to be high in the rpms and then let go of the throtle and twist it a tiny bit

It loads up the front suspension for that split second which makes it easier to pop the front up.

Does the Quickshifter work well in every RPM? And can you downshift with it like a blipper too?
Yes It works great with every gear and no it does not downshift, at least this model is just upshift.

@@ShadowRR perguntei isto pk tenho o mesmo setup que tu e com o akrapovic sem db killer e o stage 2 da DNA com o mapa stock em baixa rotacao tipo a mota fica estranha muito devido ao mapa de injecao que original ja tem a mistura pobre em baixa rotacao ao colocarmos o escape (sem db killer e o stage 2 do DNA) a mistura fica ainda mais pobre em closed loop a custa do sensor lambda)
Só a minha opinião. Qual é a tua?
@@joaofury3 Concordo, o ideal é um remap sem dúvida, a mota não é minha é de um amigo meu mas senti que realmente em baixas a mistura não era ideal, tinha algumas falhas e engasgava-se somente em baixas em altas estava espetacular.
@@ShadowRR e isso mesmo eu experimentei a desligar a sonda lambda e colocar umas resistencias da smart moto e realmente as baixas nornalizaram. Mas o remap com um setup assim sem db killer e com o dna stage 2 e fundamental para nornalozar o fueling da mota e tirar o maximo partido material
